"The staff treated me so well. Working with me even with a language barrier. After a few weeks of the Tokyo and Osaka life, that place was a slice of heaven, my only regret was not staying longer. The baths were nice, the place was super clean. Transportation to get there is a bit difficult, but that I think is what makes this place attractive, since it's in such a nice, quiet part of Japan. Going there during the Sakura season was amazing too. "

Before we arrived, he called me on the phone to try and get my estimated time of arrival so he could pick us up from the train station. "Excellent Buffet "

"窓が大きく、部屋からの景色が、ほぼ空、という素敵なロケーションでした。 露天風呂も、座ると、本当に空しか見えず、移りゆく雲を眺めながらゆったりすることができました。 のんびり過ごすには最高の宿でした。 ただ、宿泊したときは、予約で一杯だったせいか、朝食の時間が1時間で交代になり、小さい子供を連れて行ったので、少し慌ただしい朝食になりました。 また、お風呂のお湯は、混んでいたせいか、やや汚れが取り切れていないように思えました。 全体的に、昔からある宿が、リノベーション等しながら、いい雰囲気を残しつつ、ゆったり過ごせる環境になっているいい宿、という印象でした。 あまりゆっくり食べやれませんでしたが、ご飯も美味しかったので、また、蒲郡に行くことがあれば、候補の1つです。"

"Great dinner and breakfast. Enomous amount of food, including steak, lobster, fish, pork, rice, soup, dessert. Roof top onsen has a great view. The hotel is also walk distance to a famous sunset viewing spot. The room is a little bit old but clean and nice."
