Rose’s Beach House

Wonderful stay, lovely home. This was an Aunt and neices vacay in Galveston before they boarded a cruise. The teens and their mother and aunt all had a great time in this very adorable home. Walking distance to the seawall and beach. Highly recommend this beach rental.

This cute beach house has a bunch of charm. A touch of modern mixed with some cute antiques. The house was clean and ready for our arrival. The upstairs bedroom was perfect for our teenager. Safe neighborhood and walking distance to the Seawall beach, Pleasure Pier and community park.

First time to Galviston.

Property was very comfortable. Loved the porch chairs and the upstairs was a prefect place for our teenagers to hang out. It was clean but needs a little deep cleaning attention. Kitchen was nice but needed a few more things..a large kettle to boil spaghetti, a few more bowls for leftovers, a working can opener & a few more utensils. French press coffee pot was so very appreciated! I would definitely stay again and recommend.

Perfect Stay in the City of Galveston

Rose's Beach House could not have been more perfect for our stay. We wanted to get to see Galveston and its history while enjoying loval flavor. This house was in a perfect spot to walk Seawall Blvd to many restaurants and Pleasure Pier. It was also right off the main parkway and streetcar route to The Strand. Every need has been contemplated from ground coffee ready to brew and extra toiletries for those that didn't make it into your luggage. Family board game selection is top notch! This cottage has lots of original character and features. The owner shared with us a bit of backstory on some of the items being preserved and shared [because they are just perfect. If you are interested in Galveston's Story, this is the place to stay. We brought our kids ages 10 and 12. There was just enough space for the 4 of us. We plan to come back.

Great location… “cozy” kind of sums it up

Was here for a few days with friends. The pre-communication with this host was awesome and the location of the property couldn’t have been better. Pricing was also on point for what we needed. But…The house was much smaller than it appeared in pics and it was really really tight with the 4 of us. The beds were fulls not queens and the bathroom was so small that the guys almost had to stand in the tub in order to hit the bowl! All 4 of us couldn’t sit together in the living room, there’s really no where to sit and eat and if more than one person is in the kitchen at a time, you’ll be bumping in to each other. Speaking of the kitchen…I can’t remember how it was advertised but just know it isn’t super well stocked. We love the cook and eat and we weren’t really able to do either. Largest pot was about 6 cups (so don’t plan on making pasta, chili, soup, or anything of that nature) and the provided bowls were about the size of my palm so we didn’t even have a way of eating like cereal in the morning. Bring your own paper goods maybe. The home was cute and cozy and very beachy. But the host had a lot of personal items everywhere - including in the fridge which was a little weird. There were little instructional notes EVERYWHERE telling us what we could and couldn’t use and could and couldn’t touch. It was a little hard to feel comfortable here. Great place if you’re coming solo, or maybe just with your partner and plan to eat meals out or be out most of the day!

Bachelorette Trip

We stayed here for a bachelorette trip to Galveston and absolutely loved the house! It felt safe but the street did fill up with cars from other houses having parties. We enjoyed the closeness to everything and had a great time! House was lovely and very cute.
