Great place to stay

Love this place!!! We have stayed here the past 2 years and the experience was top notch both times. Very clean and everything you could ever ask for all around. Beautiful view of the beach and 61st fishing pier.

LOVED this cozy place!

We loved this cozy place! The view of the beach right across the street was amazing as well. I loved the gated community and how safe it felt. It was so quiet around us it felt like we had the whole building to ourselves! The pool was very clean and our kids loved it too! We will for sure be making reservations at The Victorian from now on for all our future beach trips!

The property is a very old building. But each condo is unique in it's own way. The inside was very clean and comfortable. I will still choose this option over a hotel room because you have the option to cook, relax and enjoy a comfortable living area. The kids really enjoyed it.

The location and rooms are fantastic. Pools/hot tubs are excellent. Staff is friendly. The overall condition of the property has seriously deteriorated. Parking is very limited and the set up is cumbersome and not well marked. The buildings are all one gust of wind away from crumbling. The property needs some serious work. I hope the property can put in the work it needs as this property has potential to be a real standout.

Love this condo!

I always love staying at The Victorian..excellent location, condo was so nice and cozy, parking is great, pools are so nice and clean, i feel safe inside the gates. I will always stay here. Note to the propert management team...the chairs on the balcony would be so much better if they were taller. When you sit on them, the top beam of the handrail totally blocks out the ocean. Not a big deal, but that's one of my favorite things to do.

The pools were fantastic for our kids. Location was perfect for enjoying the beach. Our unit was not representative of the pictures we saw online. Our unit was rundown and in need of updates. It was listed as housing 6 guests and there wasnt even enough kitchenware for everyone to have a plate and silverware. A few dollars put into the unit would benefit it immensely.

Unit was clean, well kept. I would just suggest new curtains for the sliding glass door and darker/ light blocking curtains for the bedroom due to the light coming in from the walkway. The pools were not as clean as they should've been, but we didn't really use them. I'm sure it's hard to keep them clean across from the beach. We do love this property and will return in the future.

We arrived a little past midnight and the security guard was very helpful. We got to our condo and immediately realized that the photos on Expedia were from a remodeled unit. Ours was not updated! A few minutes after arriving, the security guard knocked on our door and asked to see our reservation. Apparently the condo was double booked and the other guest had just arrived. Good thing we weren't a few minutes later in arriving or we might not have had a place to stay! The property is not updated, with holes in the bathroom ceiling and cabinets that are falling apart. The morning we left it was raining and the drain in the parking garage was clogged. We had to load our car in water that was about 8" deep! The location of this property is great, so I don't understand why they wouldn't want to update this property??

Nice but not what expected.

The room was nicely decorated and came with a lot of amenities that were very appreciated.The view was beautiful and the pool was very nice. There were just a few issues but they were enough to leave a review to at lest let future guests know what to expect. My husband has bad knees and ALL of the elevators were out of order. We were on the top floor so he was in pain from having to use the stairs. The second issue was the bathroom. The part by the focet in the shower was broken upon arrival and looked like black mold was present. We tried to stay out of the bathroom as much as possible because of it. The shower curtain rod also looked out of place so the curtain did not shut properly. The toilet runs constantly if you don't move the handle a few times so that the tank can fill up. The staff was informative and when we had questions they helped but we have come to expect smiling friendly welcomes anywhere else we have stayed and that was something lacking here. The location is also something we concider when booking and being within walking distance of Wal-Mart, the fishing pier, & restaurants was nice and a reason for giving more stars.

Won't stay again

Our booked room states accommodates 6, which it did have a bed for everyone to sleep in, two sets had to double up which we were aware of, The room itself for 6 well your very much on top of each other. The room was dusty, the bedroom was musty smelling, We found a pair of XXL dark blue track pants in the sofa sleeper along with wrappers crumbs and other items when the bed was pulled out. The bathroom,bathtub needs a true elbow grease cleaning. We appreciated the proximity to the Walmart and the beach, The beach was literally across the street. This property has two pools one is too deep for most children the more child family friendly gets way to crowded, The pool lights were not on one night making it way too dangerousfor children to have them off. Our stay was mid week to weekend definitely a different clientele from week to weekend. Too much cigarette and pot smell. The building our room was in is tired needs updating, which they could be in the process of doing as they were working on the roof every morning early, Elevators are slow one not working at all. Would have liked some notifications of roof work prior to stay. overall wouldn't stay again.
