Perfect family vacation

We had the best stay in Galveston at Shelby’s great beach house. It was spacious, bedrooms were comfortable and homey. The common areas were open and plenty of space for our entire family. Everything we could possibly need was there, very generous items for babies and toddlers. Fantastic ocean breeze from both large covered decks, outdoor shower, hot tub. Can’t wait to come back again next year with our grandbabies!

The best Easter ever

This house met all of our needs and more. The location one house back from the ocean was perfect with large porches to sit and feel the breeze and watch the waves. The house is very well stocked with anything you might need to enjoy your stay from house supplies to beach chairs and toys.

Family vacation

The location of the this property is great. You have an ocean view from the balcony with a 2 minute walk to the beach. The house is a perfect size for a large family. It is clean with welcoming beach decor. We will consider staying here again.

Beautiful property, great location!

We do Galveston every summer with our big group and this was by far the best rental we have ever stayed in. Even though it’s not beachfront, its close to the walkover and you can see and hear the ocean from the decks and inside. The ocean breezes were amazing. The home was sparkling clean, well stocked and very comfortable. A perfect beach week!

Truly Five Stars

Truly one of the best vacation houses we’ve ever had - beautiful house (had everything you needed for a comfortable stay and a fun beach trip) and great location. We stayed with another family and getting too and from the beach (even with small kids) was so easy! And the beach for the neighborhood was super nice - even for Spring Break the beach wasn’t crowded and we were able to setup a canopy and chairs for the whole day! Overall one of the best places we’ve every stayed!

Great house steps to the beach

Beautiful home, steps to the beach. Lots of games, books and movies to fill in down time from the beach. House is beautifully decorated, plenty of seating indoors and out. Great views of the beach. Well equipped kitchen. Love that that area of the beach has no cars allowed, safer for the kids. Very responsive hosts. Hope to stay again soon!

We had a wonderful time. The beach is just steps away. There was some construction but hardly noticeable. The neighborhood was quite and the house was amazing. Owner was very responsive when I sent a message. Hope to get back here again next summer, if not sooner!

True Getaway

Elegant beachside home in a wonderful gulf side neighborhood. This home provides all the essentials to truly get away from it all and enjoy all that the area has to offer. The expansive outdoor decks provide beautiful vistas of the beach and gulf and will probably lead you to spend more time outside of the lovely home. The house is ultra clean and well maintained and we have already booked our return visit next month.

PERFECT family beach vacation at the BREEZE!

The property was just as pictured and described. The kitchen was well stocked which was great because we had 5 little ones all age 6 and under and we cooked every meal. The beds were very comfortable and the bedrooms were set up nicely to accommodate my husband and myself and my two daughters and their families. The garage was well stocked with any and everything you could need for a day on the beach! AND the beach was just a few steps from the house. Everyone loved visiting and eating on the BREEZY balconies! We hope to stay here again!!!

Wonderful experience!

We were so happy with our stay at The Breeze. The home is just as beautiful in person. They have everything you could ever need. The kitchen is so well stocked and we were able to do a lot of cooking for our child with food allergies. The location is amazing and the views were wonderful. Ernestine was so helpful and responded so quickly with any questions. She also allowed us to have a later check out which is super helpful when traveling with a child with severe food allergies. We will definitely be back. The home was even better than the pictures and easily fit our family of 7. Thank you for an amazing stay!!

Amazing Beach Break

We haven’t traveled since covid hit and were so due for a change of scenery. This was also our first time to Galveston. We didn’t know what to expect and everything about our stay was wonderful. The house is comfortable and welcoming. It immediately felt like home, our 5yr old quickly claimed a “bonk” bed and went searching for toys. He found tons of games and was so excited to play things we didn’t have at home. The house had everything we needed to feel safe and comfortable. The owners made the whole experience easy and special. I can’t wait to plan our next trip and bring Grandma along!!

What an amazing place to stay in Galveston!

You arrive at this well-maintained house to the sound of the waves, and the views are spectacular. Our hosts had everything ready for our stay, and even checked in with us during our stay to see if there was anything we needed. The house was very well appointed and comfortable. Room for lots of people and two amazing covered balconies overlooking the water. We would like to especially compliment the hosts on the kitchen. We have stayed at several VRBO’s across the country, and this is by far the best equipped and outfitted kitchen we have ever experienced! We definitely hit a home run with this property! It far exceeded out expectations. Thanks to our hosts for their hospitality. We will definitely stay here the next time we come to Galveston.

Earnestine was so helpful and easy to communicate with throughout our stay. The house is in an excellent location with grand balconies to enjoy the stunning views. The home is clean, organized and exceptionally well stocked. The kids had everything they needed highchairs, pack and plays, and toys galore. No need to bring anything, the organized garage has everything you need for a day at the beach. No detail was forgotten-the grill was clean and propane tank was full. Earnestine left us a bottle of wine as we were celebrating a birthday. Thank you for sharing your home!

Perfect Quiet Getaway

The home was exactly as pictured and the location couldn't be beat. We stayed with our children's grandparents, so the close proximity to the beach was wonderful for them as it allowed them to come and go to the beach with ease. We spent most of our stay at the large table outside on the expansive deck eating meals, enjoying the breeze, and building memories as a family. Kitchen was well-stocked, home was clean, and furniture was comfortable for our stay. The kids enjoyed the bunk room and as parents we appreciate that the bedrooms had sun-blocking shades. The upper deck coming off of the master bedroom was the perfect spot to enjoy sunrise and sunset every day. Communication with our host was easy and Ernestine was courteous and kind. We also loved that the beach at Beachside Village is private, which meant no cars and the beach was not crowded at all. We had the most relaxing, quiet stay with our family. Thank you Ernestine for a wonderful stay!

Memorial Day memories

Wow!!!! Where do I begin? The Breeze is beyond beautiful, decorated to a tee, stocked with everything you could need, outstanding porches with stunning views, plenty spacious and perfect location!! Our family had the best time watching the kids make memories with their cousins, their grandparents and parents. Such a special place that you immediately feel right at home in. We didn’t want to go home. But we are already planning our return trip! The homeowners are so kind and helpful. They provided all kinds of information about the island and were always responsive if I had a question. It was the most perfect place to kick off our summer fun and enjoy family time. Thank you for having us, we will never forget our first trip here!!

The Breeze in Beachside is so beautiful! Coastal decor very pleasing with nice touches everywhere. Beds very comfortable with plenty of towels, including beach towels. Extremely well stocked kitchen with all appliances, cookware, plastic and pottery dining ware, plentiful cups, glasses, bakeware, spices, garbage bags, paper towels, napkins, dishwasher and laundry soaps, etc. Baths with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Lots of extras never provided at other rentals. Views pretty but restricted view Second row home. New construction has changed listing’s view publicized.Still nice ocean views between houses and a fabulous deck with cooling breezes night and day. Lovely outdoor furniture, very comfortable , classy. Tons of beach toys, wagon, chairs, bicycles, floatation, tent, umbrellas. Propane grill. Hot water outside shower. Two high chairs, two pack in plays, 1 baby gate, baby dishes, extra bed air mattresses, games. Great internet connection. Could even hear the baby monitor while infant napped as we were in the sand. Steps to beach on paved path. Quiet neighborhood beach , no car access. Security patrol day and night in neighborhood. Mosquito abatement keeps them away. Very responsive owners who make you feel so welcome! I highly recommend this home and we’ll be back!
