Me and my family had a great stay at The Blue Pelican. The house is beautiful and stocked with so much. You can tell a lot of thought went into making sure guests were comfortable and taken care of. I highly recommend renting this home for any future vacations.

We have been staying at this house for four years now it is our annual beach weekend trip for girlfriends. We have been happy every time we have been in the house. The owner is so accommodating and the house is beautiful and clean.

Beautiful House

We had a wonderful girls trip with 3 adults & 3 teens. The house had everything we needed for a quick getaway. The outdoor spaces were nice and the neighborhood was really quiet… even during spring break week! The beach towels and chairs were a nice bonus that saved us some space with packing. Would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic property in a great location

Our extended family, 5 in total stayed at the Blue Pelican for the long Easter weekend. The house was even nicer than the photos and we were happily surprised to find a well outfitted kitchen and pantry. The large deck with beautiful ocean views were the highlight. We can't wait to come back! I wish I could give Julia an extra star for communication and making the check0in as easy as possible. It was the best experience I've had with a VRBO property.

Our Stay at The Blue Pelican

This was a lovely home and there was very little to complain about……2-3 minor issues and the owner was very prompt to respond to help us resolve them. Not front row beach, but only a very brief walk to a beautiful and well kept beachfront that was never crowded. Our 2 grandkids loved everything about this place. We would definitely consider renting it again on our return to Galveston.

Amazing views

We loved being so close to the beach and having wonderful views from the house. The beds were comfortable, and there is an abundance of seating on the two deck levels and under the house. The retractable child safety gates on the interior stairs were a very welcome feature as we have a newly walking one-year-old. We would definitely choose this house again in the future.

Perfect Labor Day weekend

The house is perfect for a 2 or 3 night stay on the beach in Galveston. Easy walk to set up tents on the beach in the morning. Great views of the water from both decks. Owner has thought of everything and its great to actually have supplies at the house vs having to bring it all. We had a 2 families with a mix of ages (2,4,7, 10, and 12) and the layout was great for us. We will be back.

Great vacation rental

The beach house was wonderful and just as described. We enjoyed hanging out on all three outdoor levels of the house. The third floor balcony had amazing views and we loved watching the pelicans fly over. The house instructions were thorough and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could imagine needing for preparing meals. The host Julia was so kind and responsive to all of our inquiries and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was enjoyable. The house was also fully stocked with games, beach toys/chairs, and beach towels. You will not be disappointed if you stay here! Thanks again for everything Julia!
