Start your mornings with a cup of coffee on the front-facing, partially covered deck with plenty of seating for the whole group as the sun rises over the ocean. On the ground level, enjoy a spacious gathering area complete with two picnic tables, a wooden swing, an outdoor shower (with hot and cold water), and a convenient half bath—ideal for entertaining or unwinding after a day on the sand.

The house was just as described: close to the beach and very nice. I was very impressed with the cleanliness. The only negative, and it is small, is that the tub shower on the main floor is EXTREMELY slippery and poses a hazard. A few tub appliques might be in order. Otherwise, we LOVED our visit and hope to return.

Great location! Plenty of room for our 70th Birthday Celebration

We were 9 women - 3 Senior Moms with our adult daughters celebrating the matriarch's 70th birthday. There were some safety issues which we brought to the attention of the property manager. Assuming those were addressed we would definitely stay again. Kitchen was well equipped, great washer/dryer. And the patio/deck were fabulous. The managers were responsive to our calls/needs and everything worked beautifully.

Overall, our stay was wonderful. The location of this home is just perfect. It’s situated far enough away from the commercialized area , but close enough to town to get anything you need. We loved being right on the beach, enjoying our coffee on the deck each morning. The washing machine and dryer were so appreciated. The best perk was the outside shower and toilet. We didn’t have to enter the house with our sandy feet! The beds were all comfortable. Our one disappointment was the bedroom that was located below the house. We planned on each family having their own bedroom and bathroom, but no one could stay in that room. It was damp and musty, unfit to stay in. It also had no access to the house, you could only get to it from outside. I feel that should have been mentioned in the advertisement. We rearranged our plans for sleeping and made do with the 3 bedrooms inside the house. We had a wonderful stay and hope to return again.

Beach House Misses

Pros include a good location, mere steps to the beach. There are nice views from the deck, and the living areas are spacious. The kitchen is well equipped. The mattresses are good. The biggest con is the ground floor bedroom. It is a deal breaker for returning. It is cold, wet, dark, and smells even though the rest of the house was comfortable. The floors were so wet with condensation that I worried about slipping and falling. I had to wipe my feet with a (cold, clammy) towel before getting into the bed with (cold, clammy) sheets. I couldn’t sit in the chair because the condensation was so severe that it would have soaked my clothes. A second con is the lack of amenities. It’s a beach house, but there are no beach toys or beach towels. The beds were not all made, and what is more fun than making up bunk beds are 9 pm after flying all day with a 4 and a 6 year old? The bar stools in the kitchen are so cheap and lightweight that we didn’t feel safe sitting on them. When we asked for an additional trash bag we were told that they were not included. Seriously? $4100 and they can’t provide a trash bag? Then there are the snakes. There is a notice in the kitchen to watch out for snakes. Well, what kind of snakes? Venomous? Harmless? What do we tell the EMT if someone gets bit? Do we even need to call the EMT? The location and beach are nice, but there are better options available.

The location of the home was superior, best that I have had for a beach front home. It was only 5 miles to WalMart. They allow short stays, which is perfect because we like 4 nights. Bring all of your own beach supplies including chairs & towels.

The house is in a nice location. The ocean view is perfect. There were heavy equipment operators posted up in front of our house dredging sand all night though and their bright lights beamed through the windows. No trash bags which I found weird and inconvenient for the amount we paid for the weekend. The pictures make the house look a lot better than in reality.

Beach Family Wedding

The property was so nice and absolutely perfect for our stay. There was plenty of room for everyone to have a little bit of their own space and own bed (12 people including a baby and 2 young kids).We loved the outside area downstairs and how convenient it was to the beach. We want one of those outside large swings! It was perfect to sit out with the breeze. We actually even slept on it one evening.
