Great place and location

Our trip was amazing and our host was great. This is a lovely home that is so close to the beach. It is very private and in the perfect area. We will definitely try to come back to this house. I highly recommend this spot !

Great Weekend Stay

We had family in from Germany and drove out to Galveston for a quick beach trip. They loved the easy quick walking access to the beach. We had enough bedrooms and space for everyone. It was such a nice home. Although we are out, we could have just stayed in and walked to the beach throughout our entire time. The condo was nice and quiet. We had everything we needed. It’s well worth the price!

Weekend Get away

The home was close to the beach and had everything we needed for a quick get away. The balcony was pleasant in the morning for coffee. The picnic table on the first floor was great for a shrimp boil during the afternoon. We had a great time.

Very nice place to stay

There was 8 total in our party. 4 adults and 4 kids. Plenty of room for everyone. The condo was clean and the balcony’s had great views of the ocean. We enjoyed staying here and would recommend to family and friends. It’s on our “to book again list”. Also the host is very quick in responding to questions which was also helpful.

Convenient & Beautiful Property Tucked Away From The Crowds

This property is about 20 minutes away from the hustle and bustle of Galveston. It is right next door to a grocery store and walking distance from the beach. Our family has an absolute blast staying there. The beach was not nearly as crowded as the ones on the main drag down by the Seawall. The living room was open and beautiful looking out over the other properties and the gulf off in the short distance. Overall we had a great experience and the family really enjoyed it all.

Close to the Beach

Great home two rows back from the beach. We enjoyed being away from the Seawall crowd and had the beach to ourselves for most of our stay. Home was lovely and had just the right amount of space for our group. Communication with the owner, Yolanda, was outstanding. We were traveling following the hurricane and she kept us informed every step of the way regarding power restoration, condition of the property, etc. Check in was easy, property was as promised, etc. Highly recommend booking Docs Quarters!

Great Getaway

We had an amazing weekend at this wonderful home. We were able to see the ocean from both balconies and had a short walk directly to it. Yolanda was extremely helpful during our stay and very communicative. Amenities within the home were great and there were great restaurants nearby as well as a fantastic grocery store/gas station right next door. We would love to book this home again. Great Location!

We visited this location over the 4th of July weekend, and the hidden treasure of this unit is the virutally private beach! It is a short walk to get your toes in the sand, but what's not mentioned is there are no vehicles on the beach here. So even on the 4th of July weekend, we had plenty of room get comfy without the crowds! The condo is exactly as listed, great accommodations and room for every one to be comfortable. It was clean, and the check in was effortless. We will definitely be back!

we had a great time. the only negative was the bird poop on the upper deck. the home was so cozy, clean and close to beach, Nate's and Seven Seas. Would strongly recommend for a small family. we had 4 adults and two toddlers. The beach was quiet, not crowded, and a real treat.

Weekend Beach Getaway

We enjoyed thoroughly the trip down to Galveston, and as usual enjoyed the sights and the food. The house was amazing, and afforded an easy walk down to the beach. It was very quiet, which we appreciated, and is in a smaller neighborhood which also helps present a cozy environment. The house came with all the amenities needed to cook if you wanted to, all appliances worked, AC was just fine with fans running. We had stayed in this neighborhood previously (not this house) and will definitely be back. The host was very much available if needed. We highly recommend this house if you're coming to Galveston with family.

Perfect for what we wanted

This place was excellent. We enjoyed it. This was our first VRBO and we will do it again. Couple of things….We only had one trash bag which wasn’t great for 7 people for 3 days. We also had to go buy body soap. Be careful when walking to the beach via the backyard, there was some sewer overflow issues. It’s just as easy to walk via the road. The beach was mossy but our kids didn’t care one bit. They loved the waves and we loved resting.

Nice Home close to the beach

House is nice, a bit dated, need new paint and some repairs in the stairwell. Cleaners didn't do a very good job cleaning for our arrival. Definitely suggest to bring extra paper products and all soaps , detergents. We stay at a lot of VRBO's and this one had the least options for the stay. Very limited cable, so really only one TV upstairs in the living room to stream tv. When it rains everything around there floods. Very bad drainage and smells like sewer really bad! But that's not the owners fault. Overall we had a good time.
