Welcome to Sherbet Lane. Enjoy a stylish experience at this centrally-located cottage, .5 miles from the beach. Makin’ Waved is a peaceful space accented with coastal decor. We offer complimentary cold water, hot coffee plus a light breakfast which includes ingredients to make waffles or hot oatmeal.

Our keyless entry and brightly lit patio provides safety when coming in after dark. Full laundry services inside every cottage. Our entire home is your home, even it’s for only a few days! We want you to relax and enjoy your stay on Galveston Island. This cottage is in the ground level. There is a unit upstairs that hosts other guests. Guests have access to the entire bottom level of this home.
Guests have access to the entire backyard!

Bikers can lock their bikes behind our fence for safety. You can see the cruise ships arriving from our front porch! Very easy access for cruisers.

Everything about the house was spectacular! Very clean, updated furnishings, cute decor. We had zero issues with the house.Close to just about everything. A quick jaunt to the beach or down to the Strand. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay

This place is adorable. The host has not forgotten ANY detail. Prob the most well-thought amenities I’ve ever experienced, from the Bathroom, to the rooms, to the kitchen, and consumables!! Parking was right in front of the home, it was very clean, and host was extremely responsive. Excellent property!

This cottage is perfect! It is nicely decorated and comfortable. Parking right outside is great, if I were in a hotel, I'd have to leave my room, walk through the lobby and then to my car which depending on hotel occupancy, could be quite the walk. Thanks for a memorable experience!

I booked this trip very last minute and I was very pleased with the house! A short distance from pleasure pier and restaurants. Cute cozy space. So glad it has a washer and dryer! Definitely will look to book one of these houses for my next visit to Galveston!

We arrived on Monday. Our cottage was very cute and clean. Plenty of room for the three of us. Short drive to the beach and amazing restaurants. We will be back!

This was the perfect location for the day before a cruise. When we walked out in the morning, we saw our Cruise ship 0.9 miles down the road at the end of our street. Made navigating to the port incredibly easy! The beds were really comfortable and the water pressure is amazing! Would recommend A+

Perfect little place to stay

The house was clean and exactly as described. You can hear the upstairs neighbors quite easily. And there were no Kleenex. The neighborhood is transitional and was a little sketchy at night. But other than that, everything was perfect.

Always a pleasure

We love to stay here before our cruises. There is nothing like waking up in the morning, looking down the street and seeing your ship. The shower has amazing water pressure and the beds are comfortable. The owners are amazing and offer additional perks like foods/beverages available for purchase via Venmo. They also don't require a bunch of craziness at checkout...Just empty all the trashes. As a frequent traveler, this is VERY appreciated! I highly recommend!

Lovely weekend getaway

Myself (26), my mother (62) and my grandma (84) had a wonderful weekend at this cottage. The space is very clean, the AC works extremely well and the beds are super comfortable. We went the weekend after Labor Day and parking on the street was never an issue and the neighborhood was very quiet. It’s very close to the Strand and just a short drive from the seawall. The hosts have truly thought of everything and the coffee was much appreciated in the morning. When we left we all agreed we need to come back next year for an extra night or two. I searched VRBO and other sites for hours before deciding on this rental and I can confidently say the value here is unmatched. At most other properties you will be paying more for much less.

Great Spot

We live close to Galveston already but had a full weekend of things we wanted to do sonwe rented this cute little apt. Great location. Quiet (except some.kids across thebstreet just being kids. Thankfully it didnt last too long). Place was clean and fully stocked. Matresses could probably be replaced (didnt get any sleep). Proprty owners ask that if you break or damage soemthing to let them know. We ended up causing damage to some furniture. Let them know ASAP. They were easy to contact smd communicate with. Would stay here again
