Great price, Convenient Location

Owner is very responsive and friendly. The open floor plan made it easy to sit down and relax a bit before our cruise. The location was very convenient for hitting a few stores and an ATM nearby before we departed. We'd stay here again!

My friends and I stayed here prior to boarding cruise ship in Galveston.The place was a short drive to the port.Beach was a quick ride also.Overall, place was roomy, comfortable.Great option if need an overnight stay.

Loved the rental

The pictures and the description were accurate. The beds were very comfortable. Everything was very clean and appeared to be pretty new on inside. Will definitely be staying there again for my next 2 cruises. Love that it is maybe 2 miles from the port.

Amazing house

We enjoyed our stay here on Christmas Eve. We sadly only got to stay one day since we had to leave for our cruise. But the house is amazing and perfect for our family. Owners were amazing and answered any questions we had. We will definitely be back again.

The master bath shower would not drain and we seen a couple of bugs. The house had plenty of room for our group of 6 and the kitchen was stocked for cooking and the furniture was comfortable the price was right and stores were a few minute drive away. We would stay here again if we needed a place in Galveston

Good Stay Some Nitnoid Issues

Overall we were satisfied with the stay. We arrived after check-in time and found there was laundry in the washer still running. There were a lot of dead bugs in the window sills around the house which are likely getting in via the back door that badly needs some weather stripping. There are huge gaps around the door that are a welcome beacon to pests. The hosts were very responsive to messages and very friendly.

Perfect location to stay before a cruise

Host reached out and explained how to get into the front door. And where to find items. And how to get ahold of him. House was clean and ready. Responded quickly and often to my many questions and concerns. Host kept me calm during a category one storm. The streets started flooding and we lost electricity during the night. The alarms were sounding and the water was rising. The host assured us that we could take our time checking out and wait until we were comfortable. They also reassured us that the water does dispersed quickly. We were not prepared for the storm at all. But the house nice and we were safe. And above all, the host was amazing.

Nice VRBO but with some issues

This was a lovely property. The sitting area, kitchen and dining area are very large and could accomodate our group of 7 adults and 3 children. We were only there for one night so didn't utilize the kitchen. The furnishings are nice but there are no pictures of any of the walls which made the space seem cold and stark. Beware that there are absolutely no horizontal surfaces to place your luggage in any of the three bedrooms. Since we were going on a cruise we had large pieces of luggage and found it very inconvenient to have to place them on the floor especially since we are seniors. There are a few nightstands but too small to utilize for luggage. Many of the towels were still in the dryer and the dishes were put away still wet in the cupboard. The home is located near the Port but in kind of a seedy neighborhood. An ok place for one night to catch a cruise if you don't mind operating from the floor with your luggage. A quick and easy solution would be for the owner to provide luggage racks.
