It is decorated in a contemporary style with plenty of natural light and includes a well-equipped, full kitchen for cooking up your favorite meals. Meet up at the bistro table for intimate dinners, morning coffee, or making plans on your laptop with the help of the complimentary, high-speed internet access.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Easy Beach Access

We enjoyed our stay in Soliel House C. We were two blocks from Seawall Blvd and were able to easily walk to the beach and up and down Seawall Blvd. The house is located near 19th Street which gave us direct access to downtown and The Strand. We met William, the property manager, on the first day and he gave us lots of suggestions of how to get around the island as well as some great restaurants

Holiday in Galveston

Overall, the place is great. The layout is a smart use of space, and the location is very convenient as it is close to the beach, restaurants, shopping, etc. The bathroom could use some updating and cleaning. The shower curtain and bath mats were cringe worthy. Only two towels were provided for two adults for a five night stay. Extra hand towels were available, but no bath cloths. During our stay, we wanted to use the grill and table in the shared space. The bottom of the grill was completely rusted out and there was no plug for the lights that are shown in the pictures of amenities. When I messaged the service asking how to turn the lights on, I received the response “There’s no where to plug it in?” Uh, no…that’s why I messaged. Needless to say, we were not able to utilize the outside space in the evenings as planned. Also note, the only television is in the bedroom making it challenging to watch. We ended up taking the wooden folding chairs for the dinette and moving them to the bedroom. Regarding the bed, the headboard has multiple wooden spindles. Only one was attached. The rest just dangled. Again, the layout and location are awesome. The place just needs some TLC. Galveston is a great place to visit. We will be back.

Affordable Stay Near Everything

Pictures are a little outdated, but overall representative of what you will get during your stay. Make sure to bring your own coffee pods to use with the keurig. Otherwise, the kitchen should have most of what you need in to prepare basic meals. My favorite part was how close it was to everything so I didn’t have to travel far for the activities I wanted to participate in.
