Whether you’re looking to spend time on The Strand, the beach, or a quick overnight before a cruise departure, this loft is the perfect home base for your trip. THERE IS NO ELEVATOR IN THIS BUILDING. ● Location: Historic Downtown area of Galveston, Texas, half mile from cruise ship terminal. This is a historic building with early 20th century building materials and single-pane windows. Noise may be present.

The loft apartment was just as it was described. It was comfortable and clean and in a perfect location to enjoy walking to all the hot spots in the Strand area of Galveston.
We stayed on a weekend and worked out great parked the car and everything was with in walking distance of the apartment Was our 8year anniversary so we wanted to just enjoy our time on the island Apartment was great clean and well kept saw some people talk about it being loud on the floor well it’s 100 year old building
Great place in a great location, easy walk to the Strand, shopping, and great restaurants. Communication was great, and check in a breeze. Clean, comfortable place, and the kitchen has everything you need. Looking forward to staying again.
Very clean and plenty of space for a couple. The location is within walking distance of many eateries and adult beverage vendors. A very nice place to rest your head after a day of activities in Historic Galveston!
Loft was perfect. Floors a little squeaky, but what you get in an old building. Enjoyed proximity to food and shops. Wish the weather had been more cooperative.
I stayed here with my 2 best friends and enjoyed every moment. The loft was clean and absolutely perfect! Communication with the owner was easy and he even checked in with me to make sure we were enjoying our stay. Location is perfect to walk to local restaurants and bars. We didn’t have to drive at all. This was our 2nd time staying in this building and we are already planning to go back.
Very clean & comfy. Good communication with host, and easy check-in/out. We were able to park on the street out front. Sleeps 3 with the 3rd person on the couch. Cool old building with wood floors & trim! Great for an overnight or weekend stay! We definitely recommend.

We liked that the property was close to our restaurant and theater.
There was no elevator which made it difficult with a bad back and the bed and sofa were very uncomfortable.
The location is very close to downtown shops, restaurants and the sea which was the advantage of the apartment. However, it was unfortunate that they don’t offer parking and we had to pay for street parking. Sometimes it was also more difficult to find parking throughout the day when coming back to the apartment. I also wish we knew that their elevator wasn’t working since we had our toddler it was difficult to bring things up and down and also carry our stroller up and down. I will also say the walls were very transparent and you could hear all the noise outdoors and in the hallways. The cleanliness of the apartment was okay, the toilet seat wasn’t completely clean but we just ended up cleaning the bathroom ourselves since we already do that whenever we stay at places.
Spent two days prior to our cruise departure, enjoying Galveston. The location of our rental was in old downtown close to shopping, antique stores, coffee shops, and too many restaurants to count. There was no assigned parking for the loft, however we had no problem finding a space each time we drove to the beach area. I would totally recommend the loft with all its old time charm and updated amenities.Thank you for a wonderful weekend!
We really enjoyed the location and the architecture of the old building. We also liked the visual appeal of the room and the neighbors we got to meet and have a quick chat with.The couch and bed were uncomfortable and both my wife and I had a difficult time relaxing and sleeping. Some of the windows do not have window coverings and let in a lot of light, and the blinds that cover the other windows do not close all the way and let in light.If those concerns were addressed we would stay here again. We really enjoyed being in the downtown area and walking distance from so many restaurants, art galleries, and shops.

Loved the loft, very clean and comfortable!! Just very noisy upstairs neighbor and outside was noisy making it impossible to sleep past 7am.
Great location in downtown Galveston. Spacious apartment with a fully equipped kitchen for all cooking needs. I was staying on my own, I felt perfectly safe, it’s a secure property. Great communication with the property owner Russell. I would be very happy to stay again and this will be a first choice. Thank you.
Loved the property and the location. The bed was really comfortable and amenities were acceptable. The reason I’m giving the low score was the AC was not cooling and the hot water in the shower was tepid at best. I notified the owner, he did respond but no one ever came to check the issues. I really wished the issues wouldn’t happened because I would actually like to stay there in the future..

quick getaway
Only stayed one night instead of two nights. Should have been more CLEARLY on where the first entrance is to get in the building. Had hard time finding paying park spot nearby. Although building is old which is expected, floor creaks every single time. Mattress is uncomfortable, probably because there is no boxspring underneath it and I could feel the wood rails. Couple positive notes- location is not too far from the strand at all. Beautiful decor inside. Couch could be replaced for sure.

Great location
The location was awesome and the owner was great at communicating. The loft wasn’t necessarily dirty but as soon as you walk in there was an awful burnt plastic like smell that just wouldn’t go away. The biggest flaw is that the description is definitely not accurate. It says there’s a “queen bed” and a double sofa bed… no there’s a king bed and a couch in the living room. Also we were given 2 towels for 3 people and just note that if you have more than 2 people there isnt extra linens or a blanket For them. Overall it was great for a short quick trip but they need to update the description and accommodate to the amount of people allowed!

The location was outstanding and the inside accommodations were comfortable, clean, and updated. The floors are original wood and clean. The bathroom is spacious and the kitchen had anything you might need to be able to cook during your stay and they had coffee stocked up. The decorations are delightful and beach themed. There is plenty of closet space to put your belongings and plenty of outlets for chargers by the bed and around the unit. My husband and I stay here for a few nights and would definitely come back and stay here again in the future. The host, Russell, was extremely responsive and kind during the booking process, throughout our stay, and when we checked out. I would highly recommend Russell as a host and this unit. The location is fabulous and just a short walk from the strand and all the art and shopping you could want in Galveston. It’s just steps away from one of the best restaurants in Galveston too, “Vargas Cut & Catch by Paco”. It was an amazing white table cloth restaurant with classic high-quality restaurant vibes. To us, it rivaled some of the top tier restaurants in Houston. This fantastic restaurant was literally one block over from this unit and is another reason we’d stay here again.
Location is great, rental is extremely clean and as pictured. Response from owner was very prompt and helpful. Walking distance to several restaurants, bars, and shopping made things fun. The building is old and as such there are some things to consider during the stay. There is no working elevator but the stairs are wide and accessible for carrying larger items. The stairs are wooden with no runner and the noise does travel to this unit as other guests in the building move around. Also, parking is free for only two hours at a time in designated areas from 9am-6pm. Parking enforcers require vehicle to be moved an entire block away after two hours are up. We saw many people receive tickets. Paid parking lots are nearby with self pay options. The windows are all facing the street with blinds but there is a decent amount of light that will shine through from street lamps. Consider eye masks if you are sensitive to light for sleeping. Also, a sound machine might reduce noise such as church bells, other guests in the building, and any racing cars late at night. Otherwise the rental is extremely quiet. The rental is very comfortable and clean with lots of cute details. Two towels per person are provided with an extra blanket if needed. The weather was very stormy so the humidity was high, however the AC did not seem to dry out the air much so everything felt very damp. We live within 60 miles of Galveston so this was an affordable option right after the holidays.
