Easy Baby-moon

Great location across from the beach. Gated condo dev and manager provided details that made everything easy. Nice pools on property. Cozy and cute little condo. Towels were even soft.

Great Location

We enjoyed our recent stay at The Dawn condos. The condo is very spacious and tastefully decorated. It was so nice to have the beach right across the street! We would definitely stay again if we ever come back to Galveston.

Birthday getaway

This was a birthday getaway for my oldest granddaughter and youngest daughter, hosted by my wife. The apartment was amazing, with a fantastic location right on the beach. There was a hitch in check-in that was my fault, but other than that, it was great.

Old everything!

Nice interior, nice location, nice management but everything are old! Need to fix or to change many things and my recommendation to check your landscaping (we found a lot black hair at the condo)!

Awesome condo!

Had an excellent girls weekend in this condo! It was very clean and spacious and was stocked with many amenities. Plenty of extra bedding and towels for a bigger group. The view is amazing with a nice balcony and it is in a very good central location. I would recommend this condo to anyone planning to visit Galveston!

Special overnight trip

My daughter and I were visiting from Denver. The two of us and my sister stayed as a special trip for my daughter's birthday. The unit was very nice, clean, beautifully furnished, and had everything we needed and more. We had a great time. Thank you so much!

Great Stay

We stayed here for one night. It was a quick stay but a good one! Ivana was very kind and in great communication with us. The house has GREAT views of the ocean. One thing to just be aware of is that there arent any elevators. Other than that, our stay in Ivana's condo was absolutely wonderful.

Weekend escape

Comfortable and close to everything! Only disappointment was the balcony. The view was great but the sea wall traffic made it less than tranquil. I'd recommend it for family's with kids for convenience alone.

Nice condo

Nice condo. Clean. We were able to check in early which was nice. We couldn't get the fitness center door code to work however. Everything else was great! Nice stay. Thanks.

Great view on the seawall

Loved our stay in this wonderful condo. Everything was neat, clean and had a great fresh smell. Our teenagers loved staying in the loft with a great view. My wife and I appreciated the keurig coffee maker and sitting on the balcony each morning enjoying the breeze. The whole complex was very nice and the location is very convenient to shopping and restaurants. The beach is just across the street and we took advantage of the new Trolley stops right at the corner of the complex. Thanks again for a wonderful stay!

Great Location for Family Beach Days!

Overall, we were pleased with our stay. The unit was nicely decorated and we had a great view of the ocean from our room. Check in was a breeze for both communicating with the owner and also the property manager. Some general improvements are needed at the condo complex as a whole (paint, TLC) and the specific unit we rented as well. The top dishwasher rack was broke and the top of the microwave is melted. But for what my family and I needed, this worked out very well.

Unbelievable!

This place was amazing! Watching the waves roll in every morning, and the ability to watch both sunrises and sunsets from the living room windows made the stay magical. Centrally located to anything and everything you'd want to do on vacation, plus ease of entry and parking, I would definitely book this place again. Two things to note: There are two flights of stairs and no elevator. Not complaining! It just wouldn't work for someone with mobility issues. Also, the photo showed a bathtub and it has been remodeled to include only a shower, so if you're looking forward to vacation bathing, this wouldn't be the place. Otherwise, it's exactly as shown and I would highly recommend it!

Perfect view of the ocean, clean and modern!

My family stayed 2 nights for a little vacation and for my graduation at UTMB. We have 2 little girls (19 mos and 4 yrs). This place had all the amenities we needed for our short stay and it was safe for our little one to run around and not get hurt which is always on a parents mind. Everything was in good working condition. We would definitely recommend this to friends and family, except we probably won't rent on the 3rd floor with little tots until they can carry their own bags upstairs; but the view was worth it all! We visited the beach, the pool, Rain Forest Cafe which was AWESOME for kids, Nono's restaurant, US Nail salon (their seats didn't massage so I wouldn't go back there), and Stewart Beach which we got to drive up on the sand and park to let the girls experience that experience. Overall it was great and the owner was prompt in texting with us which was nice and reassuring.

Great place to stay in Galveston!

We really enjoyed staying in this terrific condo during our family vacation, and our 11 year-old daughter LOVED having the upstairs loft all to herself. Very nice amenities and we appreciated the very well-stocked kitchen, especially. Please note that the master bedroom downstairs only has a queen bed, which I had overlooked, and therefore was a bit uncomfortable for my husband and me, as we're used to a king-sized bed. Also, there was a good amount of road noise, since this unit faces the front of the building and is right on Seawall Blvd. I had no problem with it, as we sleep with a white noise machine, but it bothered my husband. The pool area (we only used the one closer to our unit, which is the larger of the two) is GREAT, with plenty of room and the fountain action on the pools keeps the temperature of the water down despite very warm air temperatures, so we enjoyed that a lot in addition to the beach, which my husband and daughter used almost every day. Overall, a terrific visit and very easy and straightforward dealing with the owner.

Pool not heated, dirty and tired unit

First of all the pool is not heated I guess there’s maintenance going on but we were looking forward to swimming and that is why we picked this place. Second it’s tired ….. pictures don’t reflect an accurate description. The kitchen was dirty trash still in the garage, mold under the sink. The dish washers top rack had fallen off and the soap was still in the door but there was no dishes so I’m guessing the dishes in the cupboards hadn’t been washed properly. The balcony is old requires new paint. It’s not a place that you would like to sit, chairs were rusty and anything included to bring to the beach. Looks like it was ready to fall apart. We were unsatisfied with this location and communication with the property manager she said that she would give us a full refund, but we needed to vacate immediately.. which would’ve been fine, but we just sat down for supper ( at a restaurant) after a very long flight and drive. I explained to this to her and she was quite rude telling me I was taking advantage of her. My family and I quickly finish supper picked up our suitcases and left the property. She did give me a full refund, but I do not recommend this unit. It was a hassle. We ended up staying at Moody Gardens, which was absolutely phenomenal with a clean room and great pool, friendly staff.

Worth the extra money!!!!!

This property FAR EXCEEDED expectations! I travel frequently for pleasure and I prefer nicer accommodations if the price is still reasonable. Well this property may have been a few dollars more than others, but it was worth every cent! The photos do not do it justice. The loft bedroom is amazing! You can see the ocean from the bed. The master bedroom is large with a huge closet and great windows looking at the ocean. Outdoor patio could not have been more amazing. 4 chairs (not just two), and a killer view. High enough to not even notice the road and to get a great breeze. But more than that, the renovations are great. Wonderful LVP flooring. Top grade linens, bedding, and towels. Plenty of them. A nicely appointed full kitchen with everything you would need. And everything matched! Not a mismatch of functional stuff, but all matching stuff. The decorations and art on the walls are beautiful. Huge TV with movies that I never turned on but my kids would have enjoyed. Location is great! Across street from beach and there were chair/umbrella rentals right there. Gas station next door for chips, creamer, etc etc. Everything was though of. Nice shampoos. Extra blankets. Playpen. Extra futon for sleeping. (So master King, Loft Queen, Sofa bed Queen and a Single Futon). I can't say enough about this. I wasn't sure it was worth the extra expense from the photos, but it was!!! Trust me on this. You will not be disappointed!

I would say the cleanliness was a small issue! In the main bedroom eyelashes from a previous stay were near a jewelry box. We might not have been able to work the lock, but that was a minimal issue that the owner fixed. I didn’t think it was awful just a little more dated than expected especially for the cost the owner was amazing, but the house keeper we were told to reach out to was in helpful and to be honest it’s a beautiful place inside, outside not so much and depending on your price when renting it may or not be worth it. The king size bed was not super comfortable and I was asked to wash linen but no laundry soap so that raised major flags. I wouldn’t say it was horrible, but I personally would not rent out again for the price I paid.

This condo has a fantastic shower head with a warm, enveloping spray, plenty of shampoo, conditioner, soap, and trash bags, and a pleasant view from the patio and bedroom window. However, the place is a filthy, dilapidated mess. The floors are so grimy they’ll turn your socks or feet brown, and a used nipple pastie found stuck to the shower wall suggests it hasn’t been properly cleaned in ages. Moldy ceilings, peeling door frames, rotten wood, and rusty nails protruding from warped baseboards and patio surfaces create a hazardous environment. The listing photos, clearly outdated, misrepresent the condo’s dire condition. A particularly aggressive pigeon and its babies have claimed the patio, covering it in droppings and making it unusable…think Alfred Hitchcock’s The Birds. The “second bedroom” is a loft accessible only by a rickety spiral staircase, offering no privacy or safety, rendering the seven-person capacity claim absurd. Warped floorboards and exposed nails pose constant tripping risks, making it unsuitable for children or elderly guests. While the complex offers nice pools and a convenient location near the seawall, Walmart, Kroger, and restaurants, the pervasive filth, aggressive bird, and overall disrepair make this overpriced condo a massive letdown. Save your money and stay elsewhere.

Doorframe will break before the lock ever does.

We loved the pillows and bed in the master. House was plenty furnished. Great view of the street and beach. Away from the fuss of Galveston so it was quiet. Excellent communication with the owner. Would stay here again.

Good stay. Convenient location.

Overall good. Some cleanliness issues - good not great. AC worked great. Third floor requires climbing two sets of stairs. Not bad if only coming/going once or twice a day. More than that makes them a bear. Only 1 of 2 pools has a working hot tub and unable to use that one as others let their young kids take it over.
