Views, comfort and fabulous location
We ran away for a 2 night get away. From the balcony back, we watched tankers and cruise ships coming and going and from the front, the beach, the waves and less crowding with much privacy! TV's big in every room for hot part of day! Condo staff so helpful and pool for lovely morning dip was perfect for us. NOT WAY OFF FROM TOWN - TOWN IS RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER!! Have nothing but 5 stars to give AWESOME!!!

Spring Break Fun for 5 Teen Girls

Galveston Vacation
We fully enjoyed our time at the property. The condo was very spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. Kristen and Brad responded very quickly to the few questions we had. We appreciated the use of the beach items. The location was wonderful. We felt like we had our own private beach! The condo was just a quick drive from the attractions on Seawall BLVD and downtown Galveston. This was a great famiky getaway.

Our favorite spot
This place is perfect for our family. We love the easy access to the beach and the fact that it is not a busy place. The condo it’s self is clean and has everything you need to enjoy your time at the beach and relax. I appreciate that there is a washer in dryer in the unit. My only complaints are that the washing machine didn’t seem to drain the clothes at all which required running the dryer several times to dry the clothes and the last time we stayed here there was a bunk bed in the 2nd bedroom and this time just a full size bed and a twin pill out couch which wouldn’t have been too bad but the mattress is super thin and not comfortable at all so our kids had to take turns sleeping on the couch in the living room. Other than that we loved our time there and would definitely return in the future.

Our favorite place
This is our second stay, and remains our favorite place, HOWEVER, last time there were bunk beds with a full size and twin mattress, and now there’s a regular full size bed and a pullout sofa twin. We don’t mind utilizing pullout sofas, but this one is a 0/10, would not recommend. The mattress is very thin, very flat, and you feel every metal spring. Our daughter was not pleased. I’m still giving 5 stars bc that was our only negative, but for our daughter to not have a decent place to sleep, we may have to look elsewhere next year. Hopefully they can replace the pullout mattress before next year, or provide another bed option. If you are dependent on the pullout sofa, I would not recommend without checking to see if it’s been updated/replaced. Love the location, views, short walk to the beach. It’s a well equipped with everything your family may need.

Arrived, sheets and towels clean, everything else dirty. Called rep, agreed for someone to come in while we went out for dinner. Got back, something had been sprayed, but nothing cleaned, floors, countertops dirty, ,dishwasher full, unlocked so appeared dirty, frige had food in it. We brought some supplies with us, the sleeve of toilette paper we brought with us was gone when we returned from dinner. tried to vacuum, but vacuum battery was dead. Cleaned what we could ourselves.

Loved the view and Private Beach
Lovely property with amazing views of the Gulf and Bay. While small we felt very comfortable and had everything we needed to have a great time. The East Beach area is perfect for roaming the beach and having it pretty much to yourself. You're also very close to all the restaurants and fun spots by the seawall. Wish we owned this place. Thanks for sharing your great property.

Really nice. Had everything you would need. I had a question on where to find a couple of things and the hosts got back to me right away! The only weird thing are the showers because you have to step up in to them but once we figured that out we were good. If we go to Galveston again we will stay here if it is available!

Perfect!
We typically stay at the complex for the AIA Sandcastle competition every year, and this unit was by far the best. It is larger than the others, so we felt we had more room to spread out and relax. I hope to stay in this unit next year as well! The hosts provide several amenities (soap, laundry, dishwasher, trash bags, paper towels, beach supplies, water filter, coffee, flash lights, cleaning supplies, etc,) that some units don't provide. It was extremely nice!

This place has it all. Beautiful views, great beach access and an at home feel to relax. Having the washer and drier in the condo was nice. No need to buy beach toys as there is a closet full of them, including a canopy and even a wagon to haul it all in. The beds were very comfortable. The two bathrooms were nice and we were able to use both showers at one time. We had a great time and would definitely return!

We loved this place, it was clean, right on a beach, awesome views, had great pool, very secured, no loud crowds. Our daughter's room had toys & books she enjoyed. The owners thought of everything. They had a binder about the property & great recommendations on places to visit & dine at. Communication was exceptional. We had the best time here!

Wonderful long weekend in Galveston
Beautiful property right on the beach (no need to cross the street). It was a busy weekend but the beach in front of the property was never crowded. The condo was clean, beautifully decorated and well maintained. 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms each with private balcony. We were 3 adults and 3 children and it was quite comfortable. Ex cellent communication from the host.

Pleasantly comfy and inviting! Great views, and we love that location as far as access to everything. Bed were comfy and we all slept great. Love easy access to beach. Islander East staff was very welcoming and friendly and lots of work/improvements were being done to property which shows they take care of their place and care about their visitors. There were tennis courts, bocce ball, horseshoes, and cornhole game. Kristen and Brad were very responsive and friendly when we reached out. Would definitely stay here again!

The Islander East has a captivating view of the dunes and beach and churning surf below. This unit also has a bay-side balcony. Extremely kid-friendly, if that's your situation. Kitchen is very competent, bathrooms refurbished. The folks on site who run the building are friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

Spring Break with the family 😀
This location worked perfect for our family of 4. The kids (6 and 10) had a blast at the beach swimming in the ocean and building sand castles right out in front of the condo complex. The pool was great and heated nicely. Close enough to town to get to any of the attractions within minutes, but far enough not to be a spring break party scene. The communication will the was always prompt. Views from the condo are incredible. I would definitely recommend this rental to anyone visiting the Galveston area.

It was very well appointed, in a great location with literally everything a family could possibly need or want available within the unit, Host were very responsive, extremely accommodating and did everything they could to make our stay great. Great getaway
The location is away from the traffic and noise. Looking at the Galveston skyline at night and watching the sunrise in the morning is nothing but relaxing. The condo was the perfect place to hangout when not sightseeing. The owners were very quick to respond to questions. We came to do nothing but we explored museums, restaurants, and downtown. Galveston and the condo are gems.

Wonderful place to stay
This property was amazing and had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. The sand toys and beach chairs/umbrella were perfect for us and our kids loved every minute. We were able to cook easily, and used the gas grill downstairs. The condo, the property, and the pool were very clean and welcoming. Viewing the ocean and the bay side from balconies was a special treat. Can't wait to come back!

Great Location!
It was wonderful to look out the window or sit on the balcony and see the ocean. We loved being able to just walk directly out onto the beach. The beach felt very private with just a few other families and the water was shallow, making it warm and easy to venture out with our toddler. Very family friendly with a pack-n-play, high chair, books, toys, and some children's cups, bowls, and flatware. We loved that the condo was stocked with beach chairs, umbrella, beach toys for the little one, a pop-up sun shade tent (was great for naps on the beach!), and even a wagon to carry it all in that had a built-in cooler. Made the short trek to the beach so much easier with a child in tow. The pool was also fun to relax in. Owners were very friendly and super responsive both before and during our stay. We appreciated their helpful book of restaurant recommendations and ideas for things to do. We also enjoyed watching Disney+ as a family in the evenings.

Relaxing at Galveston!
We love Islander East Condos and we especially love unit 701 that we have now stayed in twice. We love the fact that it is a corner unit and not only do you have a gorgeous front view of the ocean, you can also look up the beach to the south and see Pleasure Pier. The unit actually has 3 balconies total. Besides the balcony facing the Gulf, you have additional balconies off of each bedroom. The master bedroom has a wonderful king size bed that is extra comfortable with a special foam mattress. We always sleep soundly! Both bathrooms have customized step up very cool showers instead of traditional bathtubs. The condo is well equipped with everything else you might need. We are looking forward to future trips staying in this unit!

Took the family out to a getaway in Galveston this past weekend and we all loved it so much. The place was spacious, quiet, and had everything we needed to make our stay accommodating. Relaxing beach vacation!
From the moment we dropped our bags, we knew we were on a beach vacation. The condo was very nice, clean, and spacious. The view from the living room oceanfront balcony was amazing with great sunrise views. The kitchen has everything you need to cook. The bathrooms were nice and clean, with bodywash, conditioner, and shampoo dispensers in each shower. The bedrooms were big and comfortable with each room having a balcony. The master bedroom bed was very comfortable. The living has nice and comfortable couches. The washer and dryer in the condo is nice to have so you don't have to haul clothes down to the lobby. We used all the amenities from tennis, shuffle board (kids loved playing), and the pool in nicely heated. The location is perfect for beach getaway. The beach was not busy right in front of the condo, which was nice. There is a public beach in each direction, within walking distance of the condo. Truly a great place to stay.
