We proudly welcome Winter Texans, snowbirds, families, and dog-friendly travelers.

A great stay

Favorite House!

This will be our second time to stay at this house and it was even better the second time. It’s clean quiet. Rooms are perfect size. I think this will be our annual vacation spot.

Family vacation

Great Stay!

Perfect size! Not too big but enough room for plenty to join in the fun. Host was not only able to accommodate some special requests for our family but was in contact the entire stay. Beds were great and loved that we could rent the golf cart for easy beach access. Definitely would stay again. Thanks again for hosting us.

Great location and host!

We had a great time again—this was our second time staying, and everything was as great as we remember. The house is close to the beach and has a fenced-in yard. We cooked all but one meal during our stay, and the kitchen is well equipped. A close walk to the beach and the golf cart makes it easy to get around the neighborhood. Thanks for everything Jay!

Relaxing family time!

Our family loved the property. Close to the beach. Fenced in yard was perfect for our grandson. Golf cart rental was surprisingly a option and we used it to go to the neighborhood park and to the beach and marina area. Love it!

This is a very nice house. Great location, close to beach. LOVED the lift! Great vacation home!

We had an amazing stay, house is in a great location and was super welcoming when we arrived, clean and had snacks available. Neighbors were kind, location is perfect, close to the beach so teens could walk and access to the fishing pier. Host was great at communicating and very accommodating. We highly recommend this house and host! Only recommendation would be to add some blinds to the front windows because the sun is brutal in the morning but that did not affect our trip at all!

Spacious and cozy home

Jay was very responsive and thoughtful. His welcome kit includes all the information you need. The house is well furnished and well-kept. The welcome snacks is a nice surprise. We especially appreciated the lift. It was our mother's 90th birthday and we were able to bring her to the beach house to celebrate thanks to the lift at the house. One thing to note is the half bathroom is in the garage downstairs. We didn't use it at all due to the overwhelming mosquito situation over the rainy weekend. I don't think this information was mentioned in the description, so I thought it would be helpful for everyone to know this. The house has a surrounding gate, which we appreciated. Felt like having extra privacy and security. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Perfect Accessible Family Home

We stayed in Jay’s home to celebrate my son’s graduation from UTMB. It was the perfect place for our family with plenty of comfortable beds, a large kitchen, and most importantly, a lift so my father in law could join us! It had absolutely everything we needed. We loved sitting on the porch and being able to walk to the beach and we had plenty of parking. Jay was extremely responsive and communication about check in and checkout was very helpful. We loved this property!

Great place my family enjoyed this home away from home. The beach access was less than a two minute walk. Our host was very helpful with any issues we had which was just one and it wasn’t not a big deal for us. Looking forward to next year.

We had 5 children, ages 9-7 months. This place was close enough to the beach for walking with a wagon! The house was spacious and had lots was perfect for all of us! The host was amazing! Definitely would recommend and stay there again!

Great House at the Beacb

We really enjoyed this home. We had 12 people including 8 kids and there was plenty of room for everyone. The host was great - communication was super quick and detailed. There were a few things that could use updating but nothing that would deter us from staying again. We loved having quick access to the beach and the guys had a blast fishing at the private pier. We’ll definitely keep this house on our list for our next trip to Galveston!

Weekend of beach fun with the Grand Babies!

About as good as a location you can get for not being on front row of beach. Easy access to sand/water....and if you rent the golf cart even easier. Well worth it. Fenced in front yard with grass and no stickers for the babies to play in. Owner is very communicative and helpful. I would definitely rent again.
