Perfect Getaway

We had a fantastic time and the house had plenty of space for all 4 of us. The only thing I would recommend is maybe a shaker for mixing cocktails. We loved the location and the decor of the home. We will definitely stay here again.

This cottage was very clean, very well appointed in all rooms with a good supply of single use items. Nice supply of Keurig and loose coffee - the coffee maker uses both. Nice spacious family room with good TV. High recommended.

BEAUTIFUL home.

This was such a great experience, the house was in the perfect location, right between the Seawall & down town. Beautiful is an understatement, the house really felt so homey & we were able to have a MUCH needed relaxing weekend. I will stay here anytime I travel to Galveston!

Galveston Cottage Perfection

I cannot say enough good things about my time at this darling cottage. Great location and every amenity one could hope for and many I would not have thought I "needed!" Cute as a button and very comfortable. One cannot go wrong with this property.

This is place is a must-stay here place!!

Beautiful, refurbished home built in 1901!! Every detail of the updating on this home was carefully thought out! So perfect! I couldn’t have picked a better place to stay for five days with my 17 year old grandson. The beach is a mile a way, and there’s so many things to do while we stayed here. The fishing kept him busy every day at Seawolf Park! I can’t say enough about this place! I would definitely stay here again. Thank you so much to the owners for being such gracious hosts!

Great place to stay for Dickens on the Strand

The house was perfect with easy parking in the driveway. It was *spotlessly* clean (I will never get my house this clean) with heat and blankets for our chillier stay in December. It's a beautiful little house with two convenient bathrooms for separate use between the two rooms. We made use of the hybrid pot/cup Keurig coffee machine and appreciated the breakfast nook. The design detail is thoughtful down to the scalloped waves on the toilet paper. Note: beds are quite firm.

3-Sisters Getaway

April 1-4 2025 We are 3 sisters - we were searching for a perfect place in Galveston to relax and enjoy spending some time together. Your home exceded our expectations. Cozy, well-appointed, clean. It had everything we needed to feel at home. We looked at maybe returning for Dickens on the Strand and was not surprised that it was already booked. Thank you Nicole for doing an amazing job assuring the home is ready for guests and being available for any questions. Definitely a do-over!!!

Good to go in Galveston!

I am so glad we came across this cottage for our last minute stay in Galveston! The cottage was lovely: the decor is relaxing and unique, the snacks were a great surprise after driving all day and the included YouTubeTv was so convenient. The location was a short drive to everything we needed (we were in town for the Galveston Ironman 70.3 race) and there is a wonderful bakery/takeout place (Good Dough) about a 10 minute walk from the cottage. The beds and furnishings were comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need. The owners and property managers were easy to reach and very helpful! We would definitely stay again!

Winter Escape and Mardi Gras!

Really enjoyed our time at the Bacci cottage and everything that came with it, nicely renovated with a lot of great history. The kitchen was well equipped and had great appliances. The bathrooms and the bedrooms were very nice, and the living room was very comfortable. We really enjoyed the location, very close to all activities, Mardi Gras bash, beach, golf, breweries and restaurants. Having the community garden next door was a great addition and we enjoyed sitting out on the deck. Thank you again and look forward to coming back next year!

Fishing trip

We really liked this cozy home. It was very cute and super clean when we arrived. The beds were pretty comfortable, and that’s always important! The owner of the home, Andrew, contacted me to make sure we were doing ok, and to see if we needed anything. We really appreciated him taking the time to do that. Unfortunately, we couldn’t get the gas grill to light, but other than that, we were very happy with our stay! My youngest son made the trip with us, and he really enjoyed the house as well. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

Great Beach Themed Cottage

We just got back from our 4 day stay here. Owner Andrew was extremely nice and helpful for our stay. The property manager Nicole even gave us recommendations for Valentine's Dinner. This house looks even better in person. You can tell they put alot of effort to make their guests feel welcomed and safe. Loved the snacks they left. We don't drink wine but appreciated the gesture.Comfy living room, King bed was very nice and hot shower was a huge plus. This house is centrally located to all the attractions. We loved the Moody Gardens Aquarium/Rainforest,Train Musuem and walking The Strand.Thanks for making my 1st trip to Texas a great one. PS Loved the backstory of the cottage and the old picture.

Excellent stay in Galveston w my two little ones

My two young ones (9yo and 7yo) and I really enjoyed our four-night stay at this lovely restored home in an historic part of the city. It’s right next to a well-maintained community garden so the views are lovely and lots of birdsong. The kitchen is well-equipped and there’s a killer gas range that I loved to use for cooking. We appreciated the extra touches of snacks, coffee, water, and a bottle of red wine! The beds are sooo comfortable, too, and the bathrooms are well-appointed with plenty of shampoo, conditioner, soap and extra toiletries. The thermostat was tricky to navigate but the property owner was very responsive and friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this location!
