"The host was extremely responsive to messages! The check-in information warned that the keypad was temperamental. For us it was! They have a back-up plan for a physical key that worked perfectly.The apartment has a bit of a musty smell. It is in a historical building so maybe that should be expected? Otherwise, it was very clean! We weren’t in Galena to cook for ourselves. They did appear to have sufficient supplies to do so if you wanted to. There is no dishwasher, washing machine or dryer. The refrigerator is a full sized model. They have a Keurig and a drip coffee pot. A few pods, ground coffee and some powder creamer were supplied. This is a one bedroom and one bathroom. Also a jack-knife couch and a sofa sleeper. The jack-knife couch is comfortable if you sleep in one position and don’t turn over much. My friend who chose to sleep on the sofa sleeper chose to just sleep on it as a sofa & didn’t pull it out. She said it was relatively comfortable. The apartment was rather warm and we ended up opening the windows & running the fan of the air conditioner for air flow. Hopefully you aren’t there to watch TV unless you want to log into your own streaming services using a fire-stick. We never turned it on.The apartment has a designated parking spot across the street. If you have more than one car, there is street parking that is rather limited. This probably wouldn’t be my first pick to stay. Would we stay here again for a couple of nights? Yes"
