"We were looking for an intermediate stop between Meteora and Athens, and chose Aidipsos because it was on the water. Evia Bay is a small hotel with very nice rooms and friendly proprietors who shared local knowledge on restaurants and pointed us to the hot springs right on the beach in town, where in mythology Hercules went to recover after battles. Overall great stay, beautiful sunset and a place we would stay longer for relaxation if we had the time."
"The place is beautiful but that’s about it. We didn’t know you needed swim caps to get in pool. Not very friendly about that or anything else. Like a ghost town and average age is 80. Which is fine unless you have children like we do."

Any local we mentioned where we were staying to, knew it and were impressed we were staying there so it must have a good rep! Great for transport, both bus and water taxi. Car taxi only a tenner from skiathos town if you miss the last bus back. Easy walk down to achladies beach (has no issues finding sunbeds, only €15 for 2 all day), three restaurants/bars to eat and drink at and the water is beautiful! We recommend taking snorkels as there were lots of fish! Overall, an amazing hotel and location! "
