The warming closet to hang up wet clothes was amazing. Bed was very comfortable. View of lake was lovely. Host was attentive. Great stepping off point for hiking."

"Our original room, The Robert Burns Siute, was dark, and faced the road with a view of the dumpsters. After complaining immediately to the manager, he booked us into room 2, Mary Queen of Scott’s, a beautiful room facing the loch with breath-taking views. Heated floors in the bathroom, a comfortable king bed and excellent service rounded out our experience. The loud 1970s music blaring during our adequate dinner was unpleasant though."

"We met Lucy at the door and she was just wonderful! Very sweet and showed us around our room and the home. Our room was clean, large, and had a giant soaker tub, and a sitting room with a view of the mountains. The food for breakfast was delicious. I had the vegetarian meal and some fruit. "We foolishly assumed that we would have enough time to pick our luggage up and make it back to our train to Glasgow. This was not the case and I phoned the front desk and the young man had our luggage ready to go so we could throw it in the cab and make it back to the train in 7 minutes. Miraculously we made it because of the young man working on May 30th at 6pm who had a line up people to check in and yet had our luggage ready for us. Thank you so much, we made our train and our next hotel reservation because of you!! We really appreciate it!!"
