A cosy retreat for two in the heart of the Gaillac vineyards. Just a few minutes from city centre Gaillac, “Le Chinchilla” is a two-person cottage, perfect for a romantic getaway. The cottage is ideally located for exploring the treasures of the Tarn. You can stroll through the vineyards and taste local wines at the region’s many wineries. History and culture enthusiasts will appreciate the proximity to bastides and medieval villages, such as Cordes-sur-Ciel and Albi, an UNESCO World Heritage Site. For nature lovers, numerous hiking and biking trails await in the surrounding area, with varied landscapes ranging from lush green hills to peaceful rivers. And after a busy day, what could be better than relaxing on the cottage’s terrace while admiring the sunset over the Tarn countryside? Le Chinchilla, designed to accommodate two people, will charm you with its tasteful decor and warm atmosphere. Entirely on one level, it’s attached to the owner’s home (the owner’s terrace faces the other way). - Air-conditioned living room: open kitchen equipped with an oven, hob, washing machine, large refrigerator with freezer, kettle, toaster, and Senseo® pod coffee maker. - Large dining table - Corner sofa that converts into a bed if needed - To the right of the living room: a separate toilet - To the left of the living room: the bedroom with a 140x190 cm bed and an open-concept shower area featuring a sink and mirror. The cottage has two private patios: one at the back of the cottage with a small wrought-iron table, not far from the regional railway tracks (Toulouse-Albi line). The second patio is at the front of the cottage with another table and a parasol. You’ll enjoy the shade of the large olive tree out front. You can stroll through the property’s various grassy areas, where you’ll come across the three cats that live here. Parking is available at the back of the cottage.
