"Boats, buses and fire trucks taking up the lot when we arrived was alarming. Then our first room was unprepared. Only one elevator, so that was fun carrying all of our stuff back to the lobby. Chemical smell upon opening the door. Cleaning supplies? Pictures make it look like it’s on the lake. It’s not really. Birds everywhere on the outside, so bird poo on the windows. Coffee maker didn’t cooperate well, but went downstairs for coffee. That worked out. "

"Clean rooms, comfy beds, good lighting. The only down side would be the thin walls. We could hear our neighbors all night watching TV next to us. And the people in rooms above us walking."

"We had a great experience. 5 stars. The cabin was easy to find, clean, private, and well stocked. The tiny town is precious and offers plenty to do for a quiet romantic weekend or a family getaway. Spent a lot of time just laying on the deck with our books or in the hot tub. I love that there were 2 white robes, to add to the vacation vibe. I love that there was a small shelf of books and a rack of DVDs. Only constructive feedback I would give on something that could be improved is perhaps a sturdier bed frame. The bed frame underneath is squeaky, and the headboard is propped against the wall but not attached to the frame, so it would move/knock sometimes and wake me up during the night. But that's a pretty minor thing! The mattress itself was comfortable, the copper tub was amazing, the shower was spacious and squeaky clean, and we loved staying there. Hope to be back someday!
