"Room was nice. The blanket on the bed was a bit small though. Not really a fault of the owner but be prepared for insects flying into the room. You will need to climb stairs to get to and fro from the old street. Otherwise, the stay was great overall."

If you have big and heavy bags you should contact hotel staff to arrange transport for you from Taipei so the driver can communicate with hotel staff to go on the ideal route and minimize the hill and or stairs for moving the belongings. The amount for the transport is equivalent to Tripool and Uber"

"It turned out we had bedbugs after staying here 2 days. All except one of 5 of us had bites after sleeping here. The onsen is a bit weird and public and you need underwear and a swimming cap for it….Staff very nice and friendly and breakfast surprisingly good "
