Inspired by beauty of the desert and Fruita’s world-class bike culture, this family-friendly getaway brings outdoor energy and indoor comfort together in one package. Enjoy monument views, unwind in the game room, and take advantage of bike-friendly amenities. With stylish touches inspired by crystals and the desert landscape, the home is as playful as it is peaceful- perfect for families and friends.

Our property has beautiful views of the Colorado National Monument! It is located in the beautiful town of Fruita- home to mountain bike enthusiasts. We love the culture of Fruita and hope you can kick back, relax, and enjoy yourselves during your stay. Our property is equipped with a fun game room and is pet friendly! We do request a $50 pet fee per dog to help with additional cleaning that may be required. Our side yard has a bike rack and cleaning supplies for wiping down your bike if needed. If you are bringing your kiddos, there is a playground just across the street!

  • We got here at sunset and this girl was far braver than I would have been. The drop was enormous. Colorado National Monument is somwhere I can't recommend highly enough, but allow enough time for all the overlooks, it is larger than it looks. We did 3 hours that evening and another 3 hours the next morning and only scratched the surface.

The property was perfect! It is spacious, CLEAN, and bright. The owners were very attentive and great with communication. It is our new landing spot when we visit the area. Very satisfied!!

Perfect house with game room

We stayed at this adorable house to visit the Moab Arches and enjoy the winner’s in Palisades. The beds are very comfortable and was the host even supplied shampoo, conditioner and body soap in both bathrooms. The house is a newer house and extremely clean. The game room was nice to have my husband, myself and friends had a lot of laughs playing the games. I would 100% stay there again.

Our stay in Fruita was a joy. We arrived to find a spacious, well-maintained, sparkling clean property with all the amenities. We were especially pleased with the well-equipped kitchen -- so well-equipped that we were able to host an impromptu dinner party for some friends who coincidentally happened to be staying in Grand Junction.Our young Lab was at first nonplussed by the xeriscape yard, but was ecstatic to learn that there were nearby plots of grass maintained by the HOA. We met several locals who were also taking fur friends to visit that grass. The location is handy to funky Fruita and to larger Grand Junction; with plenty of shopping and easy access to the outdoors on the Uncompahgre Plateau. Sadly, the Colorado National Monument was shuttered by a government shutdown. Phooey. We didn't bring bicycles with us for this trip, but we noted access to both MTB trails and the Colorado Riverfront Trail (more suitable for road cycling). Although we didn't need them, I found a bike repair stand and washing gear; also provided in the game room.As a retired geologist, I was pleased to be welcomed by an array of mineral specimens in every room. It made for a touch of magic throughout the property. If we're ever in search of lodging in the GJ area again, we will definitely look into Desert Mineral Ascent again.

Wonderful home

We absolutely loved this home. It is in Fruita, just outside of Grand Junction, but an easy 15 minute drive into GJ. It is in a nice new subdivision. The home is new and very clean with nice decor. It had everything we needed. The rooms and bathrooms were spacious and we loved the game room. Will definitely stay again.

New cotemporary build, convenient location

Stayed for a couple of days with my son, and his Wife. The place is very pleasant, and clean. It's actually the 1st BB that I felt comfortable walking barefoot. Contact with Property manager was prompt. The location is close to the WaterPark, and lots of places to eat. I would recommend this property.
