"This was my first visit home for an extended visit in 20-ish years, It was a great spot. I loved having different people staying upstairs made new friends :-)… Was not on the beach, but was definitely close enough to the beach and the convenience store was right next-door To be honest since I grew up a mile down the road I felt like I had come home. "We loved the location, quiet and easy access to the beach! The house was clean and comfortable for the four of us and we enjoyed being able to easily access the Food Lion for essentials and Buxton Seafood (great place to buy seafood, steaks and ciabatta bread). Restaurants and shopping were within a 5-10 minute drive from house. Love Hatteras Island!"
