"A little to formal and stuffy for Portland. Not rude but not really friendly either. Fitness center was clean but very small. There is an extra fee for “amenities “ including WiFi and morning coffee. Not sure what else"

"The hotel was great with one small exception, detailed below. The front desk staff were lovely. The cookies abd ciffee in the lobby were very nice! The room was clean and comfortable. The location was great for us; it was close to what we were planning to do, and there were lots of restaurants in walking distance. We really appreciated that parking was included and easy. The only thing that I didn't like was the fan in the bathroom (which was a single switch tied to the light and thus had to be heard of you turnedon the light) was deafening. So, so loud. And didn't actually work that well. Even with a short shower lasting 4 or 5 minutes, the mirror would be completely steamed up. Please address that. In spite of how nice everything else was, it would actually prevent me from staying there again."

"The rooms are clean and very comfy. The staff was friendly and accommodating. There are many good dining options within walking distance and if you are there on a Saturday the Saturday Market is a fun thing to do. "

"The staff here is always a delight! Emily at the front desk remembered us at checkout and made us feel very welcome. The hotel itself is a well taken care of older building, so that means more room, thicker walls, and a tub and shower in many rooms. Every interaction with the staff has made us feel welcome and that they genuinely want us to have a good time. It's our favorite place to stay in Portland. "
