"We really wanted to love everything about this place, but the service is the worst that I have ever experienced at any hotel! They did a great job with the branding and marketing but unfortunately the experience does not live up to the expectation. The staff seemed like they really didn’t want to be there and the food was terrible at all of the restaurants. The staff in the pool area was especially miserable and not what you would expect when spending $1200 a night to stay. They were understaffed in most departments and no one answers the drink desk or room service phones. Our room wasn’t cleaned until 4pm. The reviews on the Marriott website are in line with what we experienced this week. It’s a shame because it is a beautiful place! I will say the best service was at the Sands and Isla blue, but those restaurants are not affiliated with the hotel."

"Clean beautiful property. Small beach with strong tides making it hard to enjoy and swim in. Pool was nice. Onsite restaurant staff were very nice however food was not good."

"This home was exactly what we wanted. Clean, comfortable beds, plenty of room to stay for a week. We only used the upstairs, but I did peak in the downstairs apartment & it was also very nice. The pool was clean & the deck by the pool was nice for hanging out & star gazing. The kitchen was stocked with all dishes and pots and pans. The grill was also good. This home is also pretty centrally located if you plan to explore the island. Be ready for steep roads and driveways!!! "

"Came to celebrate our daughter’s senior spring break and turned out to be one of our favorite vacations. The house was perfect. Super clean and well stocked with essentials. We were able to snorkel right off the waters edge. We loved the balcony (which is huge) so much we opted for many meals in and enjoyed watching all the boats and cruise ships. Loved that it was a 5 min walk to Longhorn restaurant/bar and mini market. Also thankful for the generator as we heard other people complaining of losing electricity for days on the island. My daughter’s favorite day water island. Ours was visiting St John. The others days we enjoyed checking out the beaches of St Thomas. This place is worth the price. Would definitely rent it again if we stay on St Thomas."
