"Avoid property under this host. They requested a deposit paid before check-in via bank transfer because there wouldn’t b any front desk for check-in. That was fine. And it stated it would do deposit refund 7 days after check-out with no damage reported. I checked out 5th April, so far no one contacted me regarding any damage found. "Das Haus ist in den 70ern stehen geblieben. Fast alles war alt, die Terrasse teilweise morsch, alles roch altbacken und muffig, die Matratzen waren uralt. Die Küchenausstattung war übersichtlich - es gab zum Beispiel nur 3 Teelöffel. Das ganze Haus bedarf einer Grundsanierung innen wie außen. Das es anders geht zeigen andere Häuser im Ferienprk Vorauf. Als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge im Chiemgau ist die Lage sehr gut. Check-in, Sauberkeit und Kommunikation waren in Ordnung."

"Der Aufenthalt im Ferienhaus war rundum gelungen. Die Zimmer waren sauber, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und sehr gepflegt. Es hat wirklich an nichts gefehlt – die Ausstattung war vollständig und durchdacht. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Gastgeberin: äußerst freundlich, aufmerksam und immer bemüht, den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten. Selbst an unsere Hunde wurde gedacht – mit Leckerlies und gemütlichen Hundekörben. Absolut empfehlenswert, wir kommen gerne wieder."

"Pros: Von Oma bis Kleinkind haben wir uns hier sehr wohl und willkommen gefühlt. Das romantisch gelegene Haus ist perfekt ausgestattet und super sauber. Es ist wirklich an alles gedacht, von Kinderstuhl, Spielen und Büchern bis zum sprechenden Eierkocher. Auch der Außenbereich ist sehr schön angelegt. "Got in very late and had to wait for security to let us in. Self check in was fine. Room just felt dated and in need of a good clean. Good location to the train station. Went out in the morning and came back room. Key card didn't work. Had to go back down to reception. Back up again. Still didn't work. Back down again. This wouldn't have been an issue but we were on the 7th floor with two dodgy lifts. Waiting ages for the lift's to come and stopped at every floor with staff trying to get in with trolleys of sheets and cleaning items."

"Excellent hotel for price range. Staff at desk were helpful but not forthcoming with what you got with the room. Had to ask about the free drinks voucher and the travel cards. Apart from that for the price is was a great hotel. Bright,airy and clean. Good location to the train station and an easy walk to the old town."

"This hotel was a good central location, across the roundabout from the train station/bus stop. Good breakfast, comfy bed. Good pool area along with sun lounges by the river. You have to call down to reception before you want to use the sauna so they can turn it on and get it warm FYI. I realized the next day the pool has jets! The buttons are black buttons under the water on the pool walls. They make the small pool great, especially if you have pool to yourself. Also we loved that hotel guests could use the gym across the road, you just need to leave a deposit for the gym card that you get back. Also with the Berchtesgaden guest card you can use all public transport free of charge in area and get other attraction discounts. We made definite use of this, as even though we had a rental car, we pretty much left it in hotel car park for the whole time as parking is an issue everywhere you go in area and we used the busses/ trains Couple of downsides, its central location means you hear all traffic, especially if you like to sleep with the balcony door open for fresh air, including the boy racers at night and emergency vehicles, along with cows with bells walking through town at 5:30am Mon morning! Also you do smell cigarettes from other guests smoking on their balcony. Suggest getting a room on the other side of building, non river view. Yes you will miss out on seeing the river at all times in room, but it would probably be quieter for sleeping!"
