"My wife and I decided to stay at Hotel Gasthaus Adler because we wanted to experience a quiet, classic, but not far from the black forest at all. Located between farms, it offers amazing views. Their restaurant was amazing! The food, service and atmosphere was exactly what we were looking for. The room was very spacious, clean, and comfortable with a nice bathroom with lots of room. "We had an excellent overnight stay. Parking was adjacent to the property and convenient to our room. Breakfast was very good. Warm welcome and friendly conversation, took time to give us advice on travel into Freiburg. We took the tram which was excellent, only a few stops into city centre from village short distance away. Perfect location, peaceful location close to city transport links. We would have used the restaurant but we were visiting friends who live in the same village. "
