Women's Retreat
The owner went above and beyond to make our visit cozy and convenient - even offering us amenities above and beyond our requests. This place is lovely but low-key - one of our favorite places to rest!

Quiet get away
A beautiful cabin! The cabin has everything that you need and is located in a nice quiet setting. A great place to sit around the fire pit and enjoy the stars and peace and quiet. I would definitely stay there again!

Quick Relaxing Getaway
Communication was great. Loved the property- close enough to towns yet far enough away to feel tucked away. (Mile and half from the main road) Main Cabin is charming and has some friends outside (2 cats, chickens and a Guinea) We will definitely be booking again while coming to visit friends in the future!! Thanks for a great property!

Fantastic Cabin / Vacation!
We absolutely loved our 5-day stay here. The cabin was very clean and well maintained. Dawn was a pleasure to deal with, and made sure we had everything we needed. The gardens and landscaping are beautiful! We will be back again!

A 65th Birthday trip to see the Cardinal's play baseball. Wanted a quite place to to stay.
My husband got to see his 1st ground hog and I enjoyed the rooster and chickens that strolled around. Nice and clean inside. Hostess was very helpful!

Unplug and savor a cozy cabin
Want to feel like you stepped back into time while staying in a cabin, yet have all the modern conveniences? That's exactly how we felt with our weekend stay. Truly a relaxing experience and the hosts have thought of everything needed. The decor was lovely and very clean. All in all a great place to unplug and relax!

escape from city life
The cabin is absolutely beautiful. The location was perfect for us, because it was close enough to the city for visiting/exploring, but far enough away to experience the peace and quiet of the country. Interaction with the VRBO owner is super. Joy was very prompt, professional, positive, and friendly. We arrived after dark, and she had turned a few lights on for us. We felt more than welcome upon entering, because there was a handwritten greeting card, a box of Valentine's day chocolates, and a vase of flowers on the kitchen table. The kitchen had everything that we needed. Everything about this cabin is interesting, including the history. The decor is tastefully done, including antiques and modern items. We appreciated the collection of games, music CD's and DVD movies. This cabin gave us that "at home" feeling, because there are just so many personal items provided (specialty soaps, coffee, biscottis, tea bags, etc.). Our last night was the "icing on the cake" because we got to put our feet up and relax on the couch in front of a fire in the the beautiful fireplace. We definitely "unplugged" during our stay at the cabin. Thank you very much! Mr. & Mrs. K.

Relaxing winter stay!
We loved the rustic feel of the cabin and still being mostly within driving distance of everything we needed. Quiet and cozy!!! Would definitely stay again!

Great spot, quiet and quaint
Great place to spend time in town visiting family. Awesone place out in the country, only downside is no wifi in the home if you need to plug in for emails or otherwise.
