The house was amazing. It is beautifully decorated. The deer outside the windows were so much fun to watch. The house is super close to town and it made going places quick and easy.

The cottage was amazing. You truly felt welcome from the moment you walked in. The wildlife in the back were fun to watch. The deer are definitely used to people feeding them. The patio was awesome to sit on when not out exploring the area.

The cottage was very clean and there were many amenities. There were lots of deer, hummingbirds and some foxes right off the back porch. The deer came up to be fed all the time and it is very cool to watch them. Lynn and Jerry were great hosts and I would recommend this cottage to everyone. We plan on coming back around October time frame and rent it again.

Located next to a working ranch the cottage offers privacy and views of grazing deer and numerous types of birds. We spent warm evenings on the patio, cooler evenings in front of the cozy fireplace. Lynn and Jerry provide almost everything you may need, even things you may have forgotten at home. A truly marvelous experience!

This was our favorite VRBO stay so far. The cottage was clean and beautiful inside and out. We loved feeding the deer and watching the birds every day from our porch. There was so much attention to detail and you can tell the hosts aim to keep their guests happy. We can't wait to stay again the next time we are in the Hill Country! This is a great cottage for a getaway in Fredericksburg. The house is super clean and the hosts were great. It is in a great location that is close to all the stuff in town, but also immersed in nature.

We love staying here when we come to Fredericksburg. We have stayed here 4 times now and loved it each time. The home is warm and inviting when you arrive and we love all of the personal touches that are added to the charm of the home. We love the location. You can be in downtown in less than 5 minutes but it feels like you're out in the country while sitting on the back porch watching and feeding the deer that come up just 10 feet away. We will always try to stay here when we come to town!!

Oktoberfest Getaway

This cottage was absolutely perfect in both location and charm. We had the most peaceful stay and the owners went above and beyond with the little extra touches to make our stay one for the books! We are already planning another stay :)
