Located just a few miles from Fredericksburg and right in the heart of many of the Hill Country Wineries, this 1925 farm home has been transformed into an elegant, romantic home away from home. It can accommodate 2-6 people. Over 300 acres surround the house great for walking and enjoying nature. Guests are welcome to drive or walk to the Pedernales River and bring fishing equipment to try your luck. Being a working ranch, many cattle and horses are seen roaming the property. The front porch has a swing and rocker enticing rest and relaxation. Inside, there are two bedrooms with private bathrooms each with a champagne bubble tub and a separate shower. The kitchen comes fully equipped with all of the necessities needed for your stay. Outside the kitchen a wood porch deck leads you to a large private deck with table and chairs plus loungers. But the best part of the deck is the large hot tub waiting for guests to enter.

Charming ranch cottage

Lovely stay

We enjoyed our stay. Feels just like home. So quiet and relaxing. A nice comfortable house with all the amenities. Along with fresh homemade pastries and other breakfast items to choose from. We enjoyed the hot tub. Cows, cats, kittens, and deer visited us.

Peaceful and comfortable - this was our second time staying here and we always enjoy it. Monica provided lovely snacks drinks and a comfortable home. We always try to stay here when we come to Fredericksburg. We love the quiet, and seeing all of the deer and wild life just adds to the experience.

Perfect getaway spot - right by the wineries

Cozy and well cared for. Loved that Monica was so thoughtful to remember our anniversary with a cake and other goodies. We slept so good st the ranch and I think even our little shih-tzu's loved it too.

Week relaxation!

Monarc Ranch is a lovely, quiet place to stay. It is located conveniently to the vineyards and Fredricksburg. The house is quaint and comfortable. Monica has daily breakfast treats which are simply divine--all homemade. would highly recommend and look forward to coming back. Thanks to Monica and Mark.

Relaxing getaway near Fredericksburg!

Our family had a wonderful weekend in Fredericksburg. The property was exactly as described, and the check-in and check-out process were seamless. Monica left us an amazing array of yummy homemade breakfast foods. Our dog loved going for walks around the ranch. We look forward to staying here again in the near future!

Quiet, peaceful. Owner did extra things to make our trip special. Home built in 1925. Reminded me of my grandparents and great memories. Access to River was fun.

Peace and quiet near wine country

Nice two bedroom, two bath just off the main road in Fredericksburg. Monica's house has everything you need for a stay near the wine country. Homemade biscuits were a nice touch. You'll probably get a visit from the cats to welcome you. Enjoyed our stay.

Birthday getaway

This is a picturesque property quietly tucked away in the country but only 15 minutes from town. We instantly felt at home. My favorite part was sitting on the front porch swing and watching the deer. I hope to get to go back.

Great rural get away

This house had everything we could have ever wanted. The kitchen was fully equiped, the bathrooms were spacious, the hot tub was warmed, the firewood was stocked by the pit and the animals were friendly. My husband absolutely loved the remote location and we never even ventured into town. There were plenty of wineries & restaurants for us in the area.

We loved staying on Monarc Ranch during our trip to Fredericksburg! Outside of town on a beautiful ranch, quaint farmhouse was perfect for our stay. Great Stay!

I had two teenage boys and they loved the property and Monica’s amazing treats. Enough space for them to run around. We visited the river daily, made campfires, played ping pong and enjoyed all the games in the house. Monica was communicative and a wonderful hostess.

I can't imagine a more perfect place to get away from it all. It was a cold breezy weekend and the fireplace and bubble tub were both a treat! Pictures don't do this place justice....it's truly a rare find!

We had a wonderful time staying at Among the Crepe Myrtles for our anniversary! The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you would need for breakfast, snacks & smores! The hand-baked goodies were amazing and such a wonderful touch! The property was beautiful and we had so much privacy. We enjoyed the walk to the river and saw so much wildlife!! We can’t wait to return! The hot tub was a wonderful addition. Very close to town and even closer to the wineries!

So So good

An absolutely perfect stay, appreciated, having a good dog, friendly place where the dog literally dug her feet in and almost refused to leave when it came time. Extremely quiet and private and an excellent getaway. Not too far from Fredericksburg about 10 to 15 minutes out. Monica has thought of everything and all the little touches make a big difference, I will return just as soon as possible

TOTAL RELAXATION!

My cousin and I LOVED it, she lives in the country, I however, do not, I live in Houston, and it's very stressful with all the chaos, so it was SO NICE AND QUIET AND PEACEFUL! The host was wonderful , she was very quick to respond to any questions we had! I love old houses with antiques, they take me back to simpler times, it was MUCH NEEDED!! I would highly recommend this property to anyone who is in need of peace , quiet and nature!!
