    Nestled on 18 beautiful acres, our ranch offers plenty of wildlife, adorable miniature Hereford cattle, wide-open spaces, and the peace and quiet of country living. We’re located in the heart of Texas Wine Country, just 15 minutes from charming downtown Fredericksburg where you’ll find wineries, shopping, restaurants, and plenty of small-town charm! We are only 5 minutes away from Kerrville too!

    Cabin #2 is perfect for a cozy getaway for two and includes:

    * Comfortable queen-size bed
    * Private full bathroom
    * Mini refrigerator
    * Microwave
    * Coffee maker

    Our property is completely fenced and includes a separate fenced area for your four-legged friends, so bring your pups along!

    Spend your evenings relaxing around the shared outdoor firepit, soaking up the peaceful country atmosphere, and stargazing under the beautiful Texas sky. With no city lights to get in the way, the stars are truly something special!

    JK Ranch is a working ranch, so don’t be surprised if you find our miniature Hereford cattle wandering nearby! They’re part of the charm and help make your stay a true Texas ranch experience.

So nice, we stayed twice!

We enjoyed this property so much when we stayed here last month, that we booked again! It is such a nice property. Even though it is secluded, it is very easy to get to. The area is so beautiful. We will be back!

I really liked how the cabin was set up. The fire pit was a great area to talk to other people that were there. A short drive to Kerrville, and about 20 mins to Fredericksburg.

Great stay

We enjoyed our stay here and almost everything was perfect! The only thing is it seemed like it hadn’t been stayed in for a while because there was some dust and scorpions around. Love the idea of the communal area, would be a great place to visit with you family if you are able to rent all of the cabins. Very conveniently located with just a 20 minute drive to Fredericksburg and about 10 to Kerrville. The AC worked well and we enjoyed the quiet atmosphere.

Perfect location to all parts of Hill County

This is an excellent spot if you are in the area to explore the Hill country. The cabinet itself has the basics. In addition, it has an excellent fire pit and cozy setting. Very safe and secure. The owner responds quickly to questions and/or needs. The best part is the location itself. Super easy to locate and it’s situated 20 minutes from Fredericksburg/luckenbach,, 5 minutes from Kerrville, 20 minutes to Centerpoint, 40 minutes to enchanted rock, 23 minutes to Ingram. You couldn’t have a more central location!

Perfect Getaway

Great space to get away from the hullabaloo of the city. Enjoyed the ranch and nature. Having an enclosed area for the dog to run and play was the best part and exactly why I would return. There was some confusion in the cabin I was assigned and it wasn't as clean or as stocked as I would have liked. But, we made do. I would recommend that future guests bring their own utensils, plates, grill utensils, etc. if they plan on preparing food at the cabin. So many options of things to do nearby. And a winery just next door! I would return here in a heartbeat!

Cozy get-away
