This was our third or fourth stay at the MK Hotel. We really enjoy the family rooms which can be hard to find at many European hotels. Easy access to Frankfurt Airport. Great value for our family. We will stay here again.

Good stay, close to station

Lovely comfortable room, impractical shower with water running into the room. Very strange to have housekeeping knock on the door at 8h30 on day of checkout.

This hotel is very nice, the location is great, view is beautiful, rooms are very clean, only issue was that housekeeping unlocked the door and woke me up at 8:15 am asking when I’m checking out, and did it again at 10:15 am even though check out is at 11:00 am, other than that it is a nice place to stay at and would stay again but I would bring a do not disturb sign with me next time.

Modern

Great rooms. Modern and upgraded. The rooms are wonderful, spacious with high ceilings and natural light that is easily darkened with the push button blinds and curtains. Perfect quiet location a few steps from the river walk, and tranquility of a large park. Restaurants are within a two minute walk. Hotel restaurant is very good.

I had an abesolutley wonderful stay with MKHotel. Lovely staff that were super accomodating and lovely rooms. Only reason i give it a 4/5 is the Airconditioning was broken in 2/3 rooms we viewed. I was moved in the end but at the same time the new room was only ever so slightly better, but still very warm. But overall i was really impressed, and 100% will be back.

Hotel overall is really nice.. breakfast was amazing as always.. Limited parking. The secured off street parking for hotel is very limited so you have to park in the back by the river and all the rear doors arent openable from the outside so when its raining you have to walk about 500 meters around the building to get in. Its not clearly noted. I would recommend to at least have one of the rear doors me marked and have a card reader to let guests in.

Modern feeling hotel in a cute spot

Check in was fairly painless, some limited English (but better than my German, so can't complain). Hotel is clean, charming, and modern feeling. The attached brewery does some excellent pork knuckle and similar fare. Lovely little spot by the river and just 20 minutes from the Frankfurt CBD. Only complaint is the shower; there's no barrier for water so it justs floods out of the shower, into the bathroom, and on into the hallway. You'll be mopping up after every shower. Probably fine for a solo traveller, untenable if you're sharing with someone.

The hotel is relatively modern and clean but totally lacks any type of personal service. My room was not cleaned during my stay, the check in process was confusing with them trying to do it via WhatsApp ahead of my arrival and the staff at the desk were not friendly. In addition, I had a tea tray in my room but the only option was one chamomile tea bag and two sachets of sugar...there were no other options and no water or any other amenities in the room.

The original room assigned to us upon checking in was not like the pictures on the website. Apparently, the room was for handicapped guests. My wife and I approached the front guest to discuss our observations, and the front desk immediately moved us to a new room. This room matched the pictures on the site. The room was older, but clean. The waterfall shower had enough pressure and the water was hot. We were able to open the window to freshen up the room, which had a slight smell…not too bad. We would stay again just for the price comparison with the Hilton and the Hyatt in Mainz. The extra 10 minutes of driving was worth saving a 100 Euros. Breakfast was average. Enough selection, just not anything that stood out. Hot food items were lukewarm or cool. Coffee was prepared in canisters…ok. No coffee machine to make fresh espresso or cappuccino…etc. again, OK breakfast with a nice staff. Worth the price in comparison to other hotels in the area.
