Having stayed at numerous hotels in Frankfurt the location of this hotel to the central railway station or the Messe event center is only a matter of minutes walking. Right outside the hotel are numerous steakhouses and eateries of various cuisines. The rooms are clean and importantly quiet so if you need to work there is not street noise to disturb a good nights sleep when getting ready for a full day at work. This is not overpriced for the facilities it offers. I would stay again.

Hotel was clean today and spacious but area around was quite rough (just outside of Hbf so no surprises). Electronic check in on the street felt unsafe as all details could be seen by anybody passing. Would stay here again due to proximity to opera house and hotel itself was great.

Because it was an unmanned system, I had a hard time checking in, and the worst part was the phone connection failure. My flight was in the afternoon, so I wanted to check my bag and go, but the staff member said they were leaving at 2 p.m. and I had to pick it up before then, which was inconvenient.

Hot in Frankfurt

One of the best things about this hotel is that it is about a 5 min walk from the main railway station in Frankfurt. Such a good location surrounded by restaurants, a supermarket and other types of shops. At night the area is very colourful and not for the faint-hearted, however, this is no different from most modern western cities. I also happened to arrive in Europe when they are experiencing a major heat wave, so it was extremely hot in Frankfurt.

Minimalist with some noise

Was a little concerned when finally finding the entrance to this hotel However, once upstairs and to reception, felt a little better. Minimalist room, small but clean. Kettle and usual teas available. No fridge. Also no air conditioning which was an oversight on my part. Due to the side of the hotel my room was on, it meant I was also unavailable to open my windows without a vast amount of noise and one evening the smell of smoke from those standing below my window. Essentially nothing major wrong. Not luxury for sure but reasonable if you just need somewhere to sleep not spend lots of time.

The day I was scheduled to stay at this hotel I drove around in a circle for over an hour trying to avoid people there for protests/strikes. I could not find or access the parking that was advertised or even contacted about 6-8 hours later. I tried to make contact by phone 5 times in the hour I was looking Goethe hotel and parking and all I got was an AI answering service. I tried calling about cancellation and the AI answering service sent me in a loop never transferring me to a live person so I could cancel or even get a refund which was not even offered for the inconveniences I dealt with. I wished a person would have reached out more about my negative experiences.

Ich war nicht zum ersten Msl in einem Smart-Hotel, aber das Procedere hier ist unterirdisch. Auf der Kaiserstrasse, auf einem grossen, relativ hoch angebrachten Bildschirm muss man Daten eingeben zum einchecken, wohl noch auf dgegenüberligenden Strassenseite sichtbar, Wind, Kälte und Regen ausgesetzt. Unakzeptabel. Sterne gibt es für die Freundlichkeit des Telefonpersonals. Das Zimmer selbst ist schön, allerdings lies sich ein Heizkörper nicht abstellen, der volle Pulle durchlirf. Zwei Lampen waren defekt. Schön, dass es einen Wasserkocher und sogar Teebeutel gibt, aber ohne Tasse schwerlich nutzbar. Es ist günstig, aber nicht günstiger, als vergleichbare Hotels der Umgebung, wo dann tatsächlich ein richtiger Mensch einen willkommen heisst.
