Staff were friendly. The pictures on the website need updating. The rooms are filthy, shower not attached, old crisps on the floor. This hotel is in the middle of red light district but you feel safe walking around.

It is horible, I coudn't stay more than 15 minutes. The location is good, very close to the train station and the center. But, the street is full of homeless. The rooms smell bad and dirty. It is not worth to be listed in any website. lost the money but no regrets to leave it

Very competitive rates but no bargain. You definitely get what u pay for. On weekends sometimes in summertime there are extremely noisy block parties with thousands of people and DJs and bands. No way to sleep before 2 or 3 am. But maybe you wanna go down and join! Rooms missing even basic standards.

Booked and paid for a quadruple room. My room had two single beds pushed together. My room absolutely stank of stale smoke. It had a fridge which would have been good if it worked. Constant noise all night. It’s in a rough part of town but I knew that already. The pictures aren’t of this hotel! Very dirty. Ended up checking out early and going home.

Prostitution hotel!

DO NOT BOOK! As we arrived the police were arresting people outside of the hotel. The police warned us to not stay in the hotel. We followed the official recommendation to not stay in the hotel and cancelled our reservation as soon as we had found another hotel. The staff at City Hotel West, do not care about your safety or customer service and were not willing to reimburse us. This is, according to Frankfurt police, a prostitution hotel and I strongly discourage everyone to stay at this unprofessional and dirty establishment. In addition the area around the hotel is bombarded with sex shops and drug addicts. DO NOT BOOK!

Horrible! Do not book! The hygienic conditions were horrible; completely unacceptable by any standard. As a result we terminated our stay immediately. The bed linens—arguably the most critical aspect of any hotel room—were filthy and heavily stained. It was evident that the sheets had not been changed in several days. Furthermore, the overall state of the rooms was shocking and deeply unhygienic. It is my strong suspicion that this establishment functions primarily as a short-term rental for prostitutes and drug users. This hotel is a tourist trap and bears no resemblance to the photographs and descriptions presented on the hotels.com website. While I understand that Hotels.com must offer a wide range of accommodation options across different categories, City Hotel West falls so far below any acceptable standard that I urge you to remove it from your platform immediately to protect other unsuspecting travelers.

Disappointing Experience – Not Worth the Price! I recently checked into this hotel for my first trip to Frankfurt and was thoroughly disappointed. For a ridiculous price of over €300, I expected a certain level of quality, but what I got was far from it. The room was incredibly outdated, looking like it hadn't been updated in 20 years. The table was covered in a cheap PVC cover, and the towel smelled strongly of chemicals. To make matters worse, there were no basic amenities. No complimentary water, no charging adapter (despite the fact that I didn’t have a German charger), and no iron available. I felt like I was staying in a budget hotel despite paying premium prices. Although the staff did assist in changing me to a slightly better room, it didn’t change the overall experience. I still feel like I’ve been scammed and this stay has left a sour taste in my mouth. I expected much more for the price and am really disappointed. Definitely won’t be staying here again!

Wir waren noch nie in einem schlechteren Zimmer

Es hat nach Zigaretten gestunken, Duschkopf war kaputt, Fernseher hatte keine funktionstüchtigen Sender, Bett war dreckig und hat sich verschoben, obwohl es ein Doppelbett sein sollte, ständig hat irgendwer eine Tür laut zu gemacht, die Hälfte der Möbel sind kaputt, paar Käfer waren auf dem Boden zu sehen und der Boden war dreckig. Service war ok.

Per fortuna è stata una sola notte

Il peggiore hotel della mia vita. Considerando anche il prezzo di 200 euro a notte. Unica nota positiva la vicinanza alla stazione e alla fiera. Si teoval all'inizio del quartiere a luci rosse, mal frequentato la sera ( drogati) e urla per strada durante la notte. Ci si chiude in camera sperando qualcuno non sfondi la porta. Sensazione di insicurezza mai provata prima. La pulizia tutto sommato c è ma gli arredi sono vecchissimi e danno molta sensazione di sporco. Naturalmente niente tapparelle e una tendina che non copre tutta la finestra. Dormito pochissimo e male. Materasso buono

Hotel geht so, die Gegend ist unerträglich.

Das Hotel ist für normale Menschen unerträglich. Es befindet sich im schlimmsten Drogenviertel Frankfurts. Ich habe dort aufgrund der Messe übernachten müssen, da keinen andere Hotels mehr frei waren. Der Boden im Zimmer hat geklebt und der Lärm von der Straße (sich prügelnde Prostituierte und Streitende Drogenabhängige) war sehr störend. Nie wieder.

Erster Eindruck war ein extrem starker Geruch nach Zigarettenrauch. Nachdem ich gelüftet habe, habe ich einen Fleck unter dem Laken am Fußende gesehen, dazu etwas Asche auf dem Laken. Es gab nur Papierhandtücher, kein Duschhandtuch, kein Wasserkocher und schon gar nicht eine Willkommensflasche mit Sprudel. Später habe ich gesehen, dass im Erdgeschoss Getränke zum Verkauf standen. Das Mobiliar war teilweise defekt und notdürftig repariert oder mit Edding bekritzelt. Definitiv keine Empfehlung, auch wenn das Personal an der Rezeption sehr höflich war.
