"The hotel is quite unique and offers a special experience thanks to its character. Its a 200 year old building , well maintained that makes the guests feel like they are in Epoch Rennaisance. The hotel owners are very friendly and kind. We stayed 2 nights in a room with two double beds. We would recommend to put some mosquito net on the windows so there are no insects coming in the room. The pool area is also nice and cosy. The area and surroundings are quiet which was expected as it is French...

"Check in/out easy. Breakfast was good. Staff helpful. The hotel is older-floorboards in our room had rough areas, hot water shower control didn’t work well, couldn’t switch between showerheads. Body lotion, liquid body/hand soap provided, but no shampoo. Towels are very thin. There is construction,with a crane, outside window but that was ok. City nice to explore & the Basel City card from hotel provides free public transport"
