"Serafino is a very kind and helpful host and he couldn’t have been nicer to us. However, The property, while close to the beach, is essentially a windowless box (literally no windows) ; very well-built but uncomfortable to stay in. Important to know that it is in a residential neighborhood with no stores/cafes etc."

"10 minutes from Catania airport which is why we booked it. 15 minutes walk to Euro pizza which was the best we had our whole trip! Supermarket across the street. The neighborhood did not have much else within walking distance. We booked uber for airport and there is a bus (L-EX). The rental is nice and clean. It is on the top floor with no elevator. "The owners met us at the home to show us around & how everything worked. They were very kind & friendly. The kitchen was well equipped for making meals. The outdoor patio was lovely. The location is great for making day trips to the amazing hilltop towns nearby & the beautiful area of Donnalucata at the sea. We also appreciated having a washer to do laundry. We highly recommend staying here."
