St Andrew's church - the stone tower. The lilac is flowering in abundance in early May. St Andrew's church was completely rebuilt in 1859 by the architect Robert Kerr and it is one of the finest 19th century churches in East Anglia. It stands on the site of a round-tower church which had fallen into ruin. With the exception of the minaret-like tower which is offset on the north and built of stone, the building material used was flint. The interior is entirely 19th century also, most of the stained glass windows are by Hardman & Co. This church is kept open every day. "We loved this short stay with our extended family. Very well equipped and something for everyone, young and old. Very clean, loads of space and lots of facilities. Loved the enclosed paddock area for the dog and some good walks nearby. The outdoor seating areas are excellent. It would have been good to know in advance that there wasn't a cafetiere in the kitchen or shower gel in the bathrooms especially as the place was so well stocked but this is a simple update of the property details. ...

"This cottage was the absolute perfect get-away for a long weekend with family and friends. The house is stocked with everything you could ever need to enjoy your stay (blankets and pillows for comfort, oil, salt, pepper, coffee, pots and pans etc. in the kitchen). "Such a beautiful little cottage we loved every minute there.Not much in the village local pub very nice and friendly and the food was excellent then there was a small village store. It was very good location for us for getting to Norwich and we also went to sea palling bit chilly but lovely beach for walk also went to Cromer and some other little places we highly recommend and we will be booking again very soon."
