The Cabin in the Corbières

Come enjoy a unique experience in this one-of-a-kind cabin nestled in the heart of the Corbières Mountains, just 30 minutes from the beautiful, unspoiled beaches of the Mediterranean. Its location is ideal for exploring the treasures of the Aude region: Set out to explore the marked trails that wind through the Corbières, offering breathtaking scenery; you can also enjoy the surroundings by bike. Dive into history by visiting the Cathar castles: Quéribus Castle or Peyrepertuse Castle, true medieval fortresses. You can reach the fine-sand beaches in less than half an hour for a relaxing time by the sea: Leucate-La Franqui or Port-la-Nouvelle. The Sigean African Wildlife Park is an ideal day trip where you can observe a wide variety of animals in a natural setting. The region is famous for its vineyards; you can visit local wineries and taste wines typical of the Corbières region. Be sure to take a day trip to the Cité de Carcassonne or Narbonne. The lodging is located 30 minutes from the restaurant “Les Grands Buffets” in Narbonne, which is always a favourite among visitors. La Cabane is located on the hosts’ property. It offers views of the surrounding hills and the village. You’ll find a cosy interior and a small terrace with patio furniture where you can enjoy the birdsong or your meals from the grill. A trampoline for children is available for free use. This cottage is the perfect place to recharge, far from the hustle and bustle of the city. Access to the cottage is via a ramp, and it is equipped with: - An air-conditioned living room with a sofa, TV, and dining table, as well as an open kitchen (combination microwave/oven, 2 gas burners, refrigerator with freezer compartment, and a drip coffee maker). - Bedroom 1: one 140x190 cm bed. - Children’s bedroom 2: one 90x190 cm double bunk bed. - A separate bathroom: shower, sink, and toilet.
