"Room is fine for average traveler. Nicest thing was the bathroom/updated shower, although more regular maintenance on things like shower would be nice. Room had a musty smell. Some noise at night from others staying and walking past. Check-in and check-out staff were friendly and competent. Handled multiple check-ins at once well. Downtown area is a little sketchy but $5 parking fee included lot across from hotel with supervision. Lots of dining and entertainment options within walking distance....

"The “King Parlour” room on the 3rd floor and the communal lounge on the 2nd floor were exceptionally clean and spacious. The walls are surprisingly thin: we heard the phone conversations and blaring TV (all night!) from the adjacent room. Perhaps a strategically placed armoire could muffle the sound? Being located in the city center comes with the Pros of a walkable location and the Cons of drug users nearby. Overall a positive stay and we’d consider staying here again. "
