Easy to find and convenient stop off point
A convenient and easy to find motel. Good value and well laid out. Getting a bit tired looking but nothing to effect the value. Key automatically from the machine as we arrived late. Nice that there is a breakfast/dinner place next door if needed.

Good value
Very good for the price. Friendly, helpful staff. Clean and tidy. Breakfast limited choice but sufficient to get you on your way. Just what you want for an overnight stop-over.

Great staff
I was really impressed with the staff response to the virus pandemic. They were offering take away meals from the adjacent Campanile restaurant and also a take away breakfast. This was an innovative solution to the no contact problem. Well done and thank you!!

Generally this is budget accommodation so expectations reflect that. The bed was comfortable, which was the most important thing. Unfortunately covered in a number of black hairs and the shower attachments needed a good scrub. The cigarette burns on the sink were off putting.

Basic but recommended
This hotel was a basic overnight stay on the way to the channel ferry. It is very comfortable, if a bit basic as the price reflects, but fills all our needs. This is the second time we have stayed in this hotel and will do so in the future when required.

You get what you pay for. Have stayed here several times. The rooms are always clean. Very basic bed and shower. The only pillow was lumpy and very small. The cover on the bed had a hole and a stain. Breakfast had no fresh fruit, ham or eggs so low carb diet just meant yoghurt! As I said, you get what you pay for...

Very basic and now very tired looking.
Third and last time I will stay here. After giving the benefit of the doubt on two previous occasions it appears to have gone worse rather than better, tired old rooms, broken shower this time (surely the cleaners reported this?). The stay was unfortunately marred further by a huge group of very noisy children, arriving at eleven thirty at night and up at around seven am. Coupled with being at the Autoroute end of the building, it was a noisy stay. We got up looking as tired as our room. Hats off to the manageress who had to cope with everything from the checking in at night to the 90 plus breakfasts next morning single handedly!

You get what you pay for
The room was like a box. With a double bed and a single on top. A small desk in the corner and some shelves for your. THe bathroom was like a bathroom on a ferry. It was reasonably clean. Lots of dust on the ceiling. As other reviews say you needed a second pillow. As a cheap stopover for a few hours sleep it was fine. Just expect what you pay for. It’s not a hidden gem. It is however ideally located just off the A26.

Very clean rooms and facilities, unfortunately we had a very noisy family in the room above us and it was impossible to sleep! We decided to continue on our journey and reception did offer us another room if we wanted to stay.

Good value for its location
Quite small and not particularly comfortable but it is what it is - a cheap overnight stopover which is convenient to the channel. The room was clean and the breakfast was good value for money - much better than some breakfasts I have had at twice the price.

First stay we arrived late, checked in and threw our luggage in the room before going straight out to eat. Only when we returned did we notice that the room had not been made, and the dirty towels were still on the top bunk where they had been thrown. As it was late and reception is unmanned after 9pm we just slept on the beds and used our own towels. The following morning the chap on reception just apologised and that was that. On our subsequent stay the room was made but had only two towels for three guests, plaster coming off the wall and cigarette burns on the basin!

A cheap hotel for a single night stopover. No restaurant for evening meal but you can get 15% discount for a meal at the next door Campanile. Good, safe parking. Breakfast 'basic' but good value.

We checked in via an electronic box outside (2 rooms checked in 1 room it wouldn't let us checked in) when we got in the room, it was dirty, holes in bedding, cigarette burns in the soft furnishings and all the furniture had a defect of some.sort. The room smelt unclean and there was plenty of flies that would agree! We walked straight back out and booked into another hotel. We had small children with us and one baby would definitely not recommend. I've stayed in cleaner backpackers than this hotel

Do not book this hotel!
The photographs on the internet do not convey the true size of the room or the bathroom. The room was not very clean, the bed linen had cigarette burns in it, and the bathroom was just a plastic "pod" on a corner of the room with a very small shower area with a plastic curtain which did not hang properly. Throughout the night we were interrupted by people running along the landing, smoking marijuana and calling to each other. The walls were so thin you could clearly here what was being said in adjacent rooms. Absolutely disgusting.

Good accommodation spoiled by other guests.
Generally excellent value but let down by the number of guests congregating on the staircases and balconies drinking and talking until the early hours. This could be intimidating for other guests particularly families.
