"We enjoyed our stay but villa is in need of some updating...rustic is fine...its the Caribbean, but simple changes like replacing mouldy shower curtain and kitchen utensils are needed, and new more comfortable sun loungers/cushions. Kitchen utensils were also not clean. This put us off of eating in as much as we planned. Host was great, view lovely. Can get very breezy on deck, but helps to keep you cool."

"Hugely disappointing! Check in was a shambles, it took well over an hour, we had to queue to get a clipboard to fill out a form, despite providing all the information the previous day online as requested which was a complete waste of time, then wait for our name to be called to complete the check in. There was no hairdryer in our room, two wardrobes with a total of seven clothes hangers and no cushions on the balcony chairs. we stayed for 3 nights and had no hot water on any night for a shower. There was a buffett restaurant, an a la carte rest"

Just be aware that the surf and winds on the Atlantic side of the island are more pronounced so if you want tranquil water you would want to stay on the west side of the island. But this is a wonderful place and we are used to waves and found the trade winds very refreshing. "

"The view here was awesome! Chris, the owner and Shanice, the property manager, couldn't be more thoughtful! They were informative and always on call. The people of Barbados were very kind as well. Of course the beaches and weather were terrific but without the nice haven to return and relax every night it wouldn't be the same. The pool in back for days you just want to hang out and not drive was relaxing. We thoroughly enjoyed the property!"
