"Yajaira is the only reason I give this property 5 stars and an excellent rating. In the eight days I’ve been here I have witnessed how she acted more like a manager than the manager herself. No job is too big nor small for her. While management sat in the back she was trouble-shooting long lines of customers (more than any front office manager I saw during all times of the day), when a transient took over the main floor bathroom she handled it alone, although there were hotel employees in the vicinity who were aware of the situation. She handled it like a pro, kept things calm and respectful and even helpful to the beleaguered person, as she firmly and kindly led him to the door. Even as he returned to the property again, she immediately solved his problem of his lost items and escorted him for a quick departure. Those skills are usually found or taught at the highest level of leadership and yet they seem innate to Yajaira. She should be the manager here. You are lucky to have her. She knows and maintains good relationships with all patrons and stakeholders who enter and leave the hotel. I’ve been working in the cafe area adjoining the front desk and I’ve seen her professionally and appropriately regard each person who enters this space. She’s sees us as people versus problems. As a business owner myself, I value an employee like her. She’s personable and works beyond expectation for her guests. She represents you well. She should train this staff for your brand reputation."

"The hotel is different than most I've stayed in. I guess I've mostly stayed at cookie-cutter hotels or even suites. This place is heavy on the amenities. The room and bed were disappointing compared to the rest of the place. The check-in was great. Easy and simple. Theres some free parking on the side/ back by not alot. The parking deck is a bit tight but cheap relative to others in the area. The cafe/ breakfast was not free but worth it. Biscuits n gravy, omelettes, sandwiches, all were delicious The rooftop bar was nice. Big indoor section for when it rained but the outdoor rooftop is where it's at. There's a couple areas for everyone to mingle but there's little cutouts in the garden "maze" that allows groups to gather undisturbed by others. Now for the negative, the room. It's not a bad room but it's not a place you wanna spend a lot of time. Which isn't a bad thing if you wanna sight-see and bounce around. The king bed, desk, and ottoman eat up most of the space. The bed isn't very comfortable. No ceiling fan which is tough in the south at times. The A/C does work great though. The lighting is a little strange. The closet and bathrooms are very good and they go have some good amenities in the room (food and drink at expensive) Last things are the staff was awesome. Our waiter and desk guys were so nice and the bartenders on the roof were awesome. Great location in East Nashville if they'd remove the liquor store. Walking distance to several places."
