About this property

Achintee Cottages No 1

  • Welcome to Achintee Cottages situated directly at the foot of Ben Nevis with stunning views of Glen Nevis. This is the perfect place if you want to relax and unwind in spectacular surroundings.

    Cottage No1 is on one level on the ground floor. The bedroom is a spacious king with ensuite shower room. Bed Linen, Towels and local Highland Soap products are provided for you. There is also a large open plan kitchen, living and dining space. A great space to relax and unwind. Private off street parking is located directly outside. Also outside we have a secure store for bikes and other outdoor equipment.

    The start of the Ben Nevis foot path is only a few minuets walk from the front door. Although set in a peaceful location, local amenities in Fort William town centre and Nevis Range Mountain Resort are only a short drive away.

    We’re delighted to welcome dogs to the property. If you are travelling with a dog, please make sure you let us know in advance. A £25 pet fee per stay applies, which is not included in the reservation total. This additional charge is payable directly to the West Holidays team via a secure payment link once your booking has been confirmed.

An excellent stay!

The cottage is a lovely, out of the way base for exploring the area. It is well provisioned, warm, tidy and the owners are welcoming and friendly. The view out the kitchen window is fantastic, and just sets you up for a day of adventure. Perfect for a couple who don’t mind a bit of a stroll into town.

Lovely cottage decorated to a very high standard. Beautiful location and easy access to many major tourist locations. Easy self check . Was a little bit noisy at times from the cottage above but didn't worry us too much. Overall great 3 day stay.

The appartment is really comfortable, clean and well provided. The only thing we would suggest is to put a sign at the entrance, as there is no way to know that the houses are at the spot. It's also a good place to stay while you visit the highlands.

I highly recommend Achintee cottage no.1. My wife and I and our dog had a thoroughly enjoyable stay. The cottage is luxurious and is in an idyllic setting with fabulous views of Ben Nevis. We slept really well on the comfortable king size bed. The location is very peaceful. Our host and her dog were friendly and welcoming. We would definitely stay here again.

The cottage was a dream! Very clean! Well stocked kitchen and great views to enjoy with tea. We were very comfortable. The host was also very quick to answer our questions.
