Great Condo in Perfect Location

We made a last minute decision to go to Destin West to meet some friends and I was scrambling to find a decent condo. I am glad I found this one, but the owners were great! They were so helpful in every way. As for the condo, it was adorable. They have really put some personal touches in this condo and made it feel like home. My boys loved the Wii as well. We will be back!

Perfect Little Get Away

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I absolutely love Destin West. I visit at least twice a year. This condo did not disappoint. They have freshly painted the exterior. The amenities were great. We parked our vehicle in the free parking garage and didn’t have to drive it again until we left. The walkable distances to restaurants, shops, and the beach was fabulous. The bayside is also easy to access because there is a crossover. I would stay again.

Lots of fun and a great view!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, we were very happy with our condo! The view was great, the beds were comfy and there was plenty for room for myself and two kiddos. Loved the balcony and private access to the pools and beaches was fantastic. It was also nice to be able to park in the garage and have shade. The kitchen was small, however, I expected that as there were plenty of photos. Also, the amenities were sparse, but again, MOST of that was shared ahead of time. However, I was disappointed there was only one trash bag provided for the entire week. Perhaps a suggestion would be to be able to "order" additional rolls of toilet paper, or washcloths, dishwasher detergent, etc. for a small additional fee upon reserving the unit, or perhaps being able to order via an app when there. I understand we can go to Publix or Walmart to get more, but buying that much at once to potentially have to throw it away if you don't have room to pack it is an inconvenience. Overall, the bathroom was fine. The shower was a bit small and there was a bit of crud on the floor. I'd also suggest installing a removable shower head. It's SUPER hard to rinse sand off in the shower without one. We had a few things we needed and the management company was very responsive via text. Thanks for a fun stay!

The property definitely could use a little upgrade to the interior. It is a bit dated. The bathroom needs a deep cleaning in corners and in the shshower. i doubt the bed spread was cleaned before I arrived, because there was a stain on it. Otherwise it was just ok.

Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted and given a map and property information. The villa was clean with a beautiful view of the Gulf and the Bay. The amenities provided were amazing, loved working out in the gym every morning and lounging by the pool.The location was perfect, with The Boardwalk within walking distance. I enjoyed exploring the area and found plenty of great dining options nearby. I will definately be back!

The weather wasn't great, but the heated pools and jacuzzies made it worthwhile. 58*-60* most days made getting in the water a tough one, but staying on the beach and having access to other amenities' across the street were great. One of the best workout spaces I have had when traveling.

Not very clean!!!

The dresser was (is) so wobbly it felt like it was going to fall apart, drawers didn't close all the way. The other closet dresser for hanging your clothes was so out of wack, the wooden bar fell out of the holder. Didn't even use the dishwasher, we got there and it had water sitting on the bottom of it, Not sure how long that's been in there! Could barely open the deck sliding door, it felt stuck every time. And finally, the black mold was a really nice thing to stare at every time we used the bathroom.

Nice accommodations at Destin West Villas

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property was adequate for our needs. One thing we think could be improved upon was the beach umbrellas. It would have been nice if you reserved a spot for those who bring their own beach umbrellas and etc. The commercial umbrella providers took up every spot that was water front and much of the second row leaving those of us with our own umbrellas no good spot for set up. We did notice the added security in the covered parking area which we really liked. Also the security to the beach access was good to see. Also, in the room the bottom of the wall between the tub and shower had mold. That should be removed and perhaps a piece of tile should be added.

Vacation/ Softball 2021

We came for a little vacation time and to play softball. Location was great for us. Enjoyed being on the beach and was a short drive to the softball fields. Condo was a good size for a family of 4.
