Little Piece of Paradise

Fort Walton Beach/ Okaloosa Island is just beautiful! I love my condo at the Nautilus. It is a 2/bedroom 2/bath condo.... “Side Unit” with great beach views. I have owned my condo since 2002 and I have return guest year after year. Once you visit this area… You will want to come back for sure! The beaches are magical with their white powder sand and beautiful blue turquoise Gulf water. I guess that’s why they call it the Emerald Coast area.

I know how important it is to have a fully stocked kitchen, so many of my guests are very appreciative of all of items I provide. I even have an under the counter ice maker machine so you have extra ice for your cooler. Of course the refrigerator freezer also makes ice.

The master bedroom has a king size bed, and the guest bedroom has a queen bed and bunks for the little ones. There is also a queen sleeper sofa. Plus, I have a Washer and Dryer inside the condo! :-)

Beach service for 2 is provided during your stay (March - October), and I also have additional folding beach chairs in the little closet near the entrance area. There are some fun little sand toys for the kids in that closet. I would love to have you come and stay at my Little Piece of Paradise.

Host was very prompt in responding with all the information needed for the stay. The whole process was extremely easy. The location is great as it's convenient to everything we enjoy doing while we are there. The condo was well equipped and clean and the view from the balcony was very nice. As always we enjoyed our stay. You just can't beat the beautiful clear water and soft white sand beach.

Great condo for relaxing vacation!

Nice location away from the main road. Condo has view of the ocean, nice balcony to sit in the morning hours. Nice size pool for afternoon sun and access to the beach. Restaurants and convenience store nearby.

A little slice of paradise!

The condo was roomy, the kitchen was well stocked, the master bedroom was spacious, and the beds were very comfortable. Excellent location, easy access to the pool and to the ocean. Would highly recommend this rental. We plan to visit again real soon!

We had an amazing week in Florida and the condo was perfect. Everything was clean and in working order. I loved having a w/d in unit to clean our clothes. The view off the balcony is of the parking lot but you can still hear and see the ocean. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the balcony. The unit came with one set of umbrella and chairs already paid for down on the beach which was very nice. Great beach/ocean access. This condo had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. I would definitely rent this unit again in the future.

Girls Spring Break trip

The location was perfect. Short, easy walk to the beach. The host was wonderful with sending information about check-in early and was available if we needed. ( which we did not) We were even able to check in early. Would stay here again.

Great place to stay

This was an excellent stay. My mom and I were very happy with the condo and facilities. It was a short walk to the beach and pool. The condo had everything needed - washer/dryer, coffee maker, ice maker etc. The location was great - away from majority of traffic.

Great location!

The condo was just like the pictures! Very clean and easy to access. Beach was super close and loved the chairs and umbrella that came with the unit however they do pack up around 330 and all chairs are gone by 5. The couch was a little uncomfortable but that's about it. Would definitely stay again!

The property was perfectly located as the area didn't seem crowded but it was minutes to shopping areas or other entertainment options. The property matched the listed description and the owner was easy to reach for any questions. Owner provided detailed instructions for the check-in and checkout processes. The bottom line is this whole experience made the vacation the best.

Little Piece of Paradise

We had a lovely stay over new year. Only minor issues; a light bulb was missing over the island in the kitchen, the toilet flusher was wonky in the second bathroom, bathroom towels could use replacing, and there were no trash bags in the cans upon arrival. Trash bags were under the kitchen counter for use. Great location and wonderfully decorated and spacious condo. Definitely recommend.

The condo could use a good deep cleaning. There are a bunch of random decor plants that you can see layers of dirt on them along with the base boards. The kitchen is stocked with things needed but all pretty old and again dirtier looking. At first arrival there was a sponge in the sink that you could tell had been used and honestly no one wants to use a sponge from a different family not knowing what it was used for. The location was great and beds were comfy. It was fine in the long run as a place to stay for the week, but again I think a good DEEP clean and some decor removal could help reviews.

Unbelievable peaceful

We came in on Saturday afternoon got settled with no issues. Checked in at the office in the morning for our parking pass with zero issues. Condo was clean and tastefully decorated. Couch could use a replacement (just a bit of a slope) but beds were so comfy. Will definitely be recommending to friends and family as well as returning next year!

Feels like home but at the BEACH!

The condo is just as the description says, a little piece of paradise. It had all the amenities described in the online listing and felt just like being at home, except at the beach! We loved being beachside. Just a few steps to the sand! We love having the beach service. Once you experience that, you will never want to go back to bringing your own chairs and umbrella. Tara was great to work with and quick to respond. The check-in/check out process was effortless. The location was close enough to shopping, restaurants, and the airport. Our son who lives in New York was able to fly in and join us for a few days. It was a quick and easy trip to the Destin/Fort Walton Beach Airport. Our family usually stays in a different beach location each year, but if we ever return to the area, we would definitely book this condo again.

A Week on the Beach

We really enjoyed our week at the Nautilus. The condo property was a very easy drive down the road from Destin where we shopped and enjoyed some of the local dining. While it's true that the building and grounds could use a little refreshing here and there (and the elevators are really slow), the specifc unit we stayed in was well kept and comfortable. Communication with the property owner was always easy and pleasant. Check-in was a breeze. While our unit didn’t directly overlook the ocean, there was a view of sorts from the back balcony. This wasn't a surprise, though, because the owner's pics are totally accurate and we knew exactly what to expect. But obviously the real draw for us was the beach itself. This area was beautiful and clean, and we enjoyed absolutely stunning nightly sunsets. I don't think I've ever seen more clear water at the ocean. We would definitely return and may have just found our favorite beach!
