Gulf dunes Resort is conveniently located just 10 minutes from Destin and harbor walk village, yet offers a quiet island beach experience for you and your family. Gulf dunes resort, unit 217 is a 3 bedroom corner unit located on the 3rd floor of one of Okaloosa island's most popular beach resorts. This beachfront vacation rental located just west of Destin is within minutes of harbor walk village, home of the Destin fishing fleet and dockside grills. All of Destin's attractions are within minutes of this ocean-front resort, while the serenity and privacy of an island atmosphere will surround you. The master bedroom offers a king bed, direct access to the adjoining beachfront balcony, and a private master bath with a double vanity, tub, and separate shower. The second bedroom has a queen bed and the third has 2 twins. Each bedroom has direct access to one of the 3 bathrooms. The fully stocked and upgraded kitchen offers everything you will need during your stay.

Gulf dunes resort amenities include a regulation tennis court, private exercise gym, two pools, and one of the largest beach fronts on Okaloosa island. The powder white sands of the emerald coast are found nowhere else along the gulf coast. Beaches are cleaned daily providing the ultimate experience for you and other guests. Beach service is included with your rental.

You won't have to go far to enjoy all Destin has to offer. Gulf dunes is just 6 beautiful miles from the Destin harbor, where you will have dozens of seafood grills to choose from, as well as shopping and activities. The kids will enjoy gocarts, putt putt golf, and daily air shows by Destin's local pilots. Speaking of pilots, the blue angles practice weekly in nearby Pensacola, and there are historic attractions located all around this area.

We have water theme parks, games, bungee jumping, parasailing, jet ski and boat rentals, dolphin cruises, sunset sailing charters, deep sea fishing, world class golf, and much, much more. You'll never run out of exciting things to do here in destin.

This unit is professionally managed, which ensures that you will receive friendly, professional service from reservation to departure. Your vacation accommodations will be clean and functional. Great stay !

Property was exactly as advertised, and the beach was beautiful. The condo was in great shape, and despite some previous negative reviews that I read about cleanliness, the place was very clean and bright. Amenities were great, restaurants and grocery were all within about mile, and Destin is just a short trip away. Definitely will try to stay here again !

Perfect Location on Okaloosa Island

I'm torn writing this review. I feel like I'm letting a secret out that Gulf Dunes is the perfect location on this stretch of the Gulf Coast. This is one of, if not the one, least crowded stretches of the beach. And the beach is pristine. On top of it, Gulf Dunes is by far the best deal for the money on the Gulf Coast. Excellent property, great units, great location, can't go wrong! Selfishly I hope you don't believe me.

Spring break 2024

The high rise is on the beach with a small dune between the water and building. The walk to the beach is short and the sand is beautiful. Reserved chairs and umbrella was nice and the workers were friendly. Plenty of local restaurants a short drive away or easy walk down the beach. Master bedroom was nice and comfortable. My 3 teen girls shared the other two rooms without too much fighting. It was good to have 3 bathrooms for my family.

Highly recommend Gulf Dunes 217 condo! The condo was clean and we had plenty of room. The view was amazing. The pool was very close and so was the beach. My parents who have a hard tome walking distance were able to go to the beach and pool each day! We cooked breakfast in condo every morning. The cookware was nice! We did have a small issue with the sliding glass door and made a phone call. They immediately had a repairman out to look at it. The people with Sunset Rentals were great to work with! I'm glad we found this nice beautiful condo for our family vacation. Our family vacations each year have always been in the panhandle and this is our favorite condo!

Fall Break

The condo was exactly what we needed and were looking for. It was cozy, clean and in a great location. The kitchen was stocked with everything that you would need to cook meals in the room. The family room was decorated nicely (modern) and having 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms allows you to have the extra space that you need to spread out and have your own area. We absolutely love the beach and it is always nice to have the 2 complimentary beach chairs. (The chair guy is super helpful and friendly) The patio furniture was also nice, clean and modern. The condo is in a great location. You can walk to the pier; a few restaurants and the Publix grocery store is right across the bridge. There were a few minor cosmetic things that needed love in the room. I would say they will be upgraded soon in the off season. This did not affect our stay. Overall, it was a great trip and we are looking forward to returning.

Awesome stay in Ft. Walton Beach

This is the best condo I have ever stayed in while visiting Florida. It is right on the beach and never overly crowded. Everything you need is provided by the owner! This our families go to place every summer!!

Amazing Gulf front condo!

This property exceeded our expectations! The view of the Gulf was amazing and it was nice to sit on the patio to take it all in. Watching the dolphins swim was a highlight for sure! The condo was well stocked and had everything we needed for our 8 night stay. It was nicely decorated with comfortable beds and furniture. The location was perfect as it was in a quieter area than Destin yet just a short drive away if you wanted to head out and explore. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this amazing property!

Great Vacation!

We had a group of 5 adults for our stay and everything was great! We loved the balcony and the seating out there, the living room had great seating for us all, the seperate bedrooms and bathrooms were very nice. Overall a really fantastic vacation spot. The space was clean, the parking was fine, we were surprised to find blow driers and curling irons, and a blender! Our only issue was the dishwasher seems to not be cleaning well, but we just did dishes by hand. Not a problem for us!
