    The Space:

    This one-bedroom home has a wonderful view of Waterscape's tropical garden and oasis, and a partial view of the Gulf of Mexico. The living room opens up to a spacious balcony with outdoor seating. The condo's kitchen is well-appointed with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and beautifully tiled floors. All dishes, cooking utensils, and bake ware are provided to complete and serve meals. The dining nook has a large table. This lovely home offers a full bath with a stand-up shower and a washer/dryer off the kitchen. The open living room houses a queen sofa bed, TV, and twin bunk beds. The primary bedroom features a king bed with an ornamental headboard, a private bath, a TV, and a spacious closet.

    Beach service is included from March to October.

    All guests regardless of age are to be considered for Occupancy count in Fort Walton Beach, FL



    Other Things to Note:

    All registered guests staying at Waterscape will be required to wear the RFID wristbands provided. These wristbands are mandatory for access to all Waterscape amenities. Beach service includes 1 umbrella and 2 chairs. Beach service is coordinated via the onsite beach attendants.

The property was okay, and we had a good time during our stay. The only complaint I have is that the staff did not address the issues we reported while we were there.A technician was called to fix the shower valve and the door locks. When he arrived, he acknowledged the problems and said he would come back and try to fix them. Unfortunately, that was the last we heard from him, and he never came back.Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but I was disappointed that the reported issues were not resolved.

This condo was really nice, clean and spacious even though it was technically one bedroom. It was perfect for the four of us (one tween and one teen). I was worried the place would be loud because it is so incredibly large with a lot of people at the time. But night times were extremely quiet, and we all got great sleep. We walked to most places, which was really nice for our family. There was no sense in getting in and out of that huge parking garage on a regular basis. Unfortunately, Tropical Storm Bertha made the days a little frustrating, and we could not enjoy beach service very much. We loved it when we could use it. The pools are fun and refreshing, and the tiki bar is great for when you do not want to drive anywhere. This would be a great place for smaller kids for sure.

Considering this was only a three-day stay and not during a federal holiday or peak holiday period, the cost felt quite high. For the amount being charged, I expected a much smoother experience. Between the gate code issues, inconsistent communication from management, strict wristband replacement fees, and restrictions on guests visiting, the overall value simply did not match the price paid.
