Great Clean Place to stay!

Very friendly and clean environment. Beach was a short walk from our condo. The water was too rough to let my 3 year old play in the water but she didn’t let it stop her from having fun playing in the sand! Condo offered a storage unit with lots of beach essentials that were nice so you don’t have to pack everything like we did! Even had plenty of beach towels. Pool was nice and a short walk from our condo. Definitely would recommend to anyone!

Nice quiet area

This area is nice and quiet, I know the beaches changes every year depending on storms the one at the unit was not swimming friendly ( big waves) but sand was nice, but there where nice beaches in the area( pepper beach),restaurants were great not to busy which was nice, owner was very helpful and quick response to any questions also was one of the quietest unit we stay never heard the neighbor not sure if they were away or not…disappointed in the main pool as it was closed but I heard they are building a new one and opening 2024-2025.

Wonderful, peaceful, perfect stay!

This was our first time staying in Ocean Village, although we vacation on Hutchinson Island several times a year. We could not have been more pleased with our stay. Plenty of linens, beach towels, and toiletries. We didn't cook while there, but the kitchen was well stocked as well. Everything was so clean! The air conditioner worked so good... it was always nice and cool after a long day at the beach. The bed, and pillows were so comfy. The grounds were beautiful and the pool(s) were huge! We will definitely stay here again!

My 2nd stay in this unit

I stayed here 3 yrs ago, absolutely loved it then. Was disappointed when I thought it was no longer used as a rental. I was very happily surprised during check in to realize it was the same unit I had rented previously. The unit is very clean, updated, in a wonderful gaurded community. Has pools, and the complex is licated directly on the ocean. I highly recommend this listing! Thank you again to the family, who i understand has owned this unit for many yrs, and now has been taken over, and now managed by the next generation.

Nicely remodeled condo

As other reviews have stated, condo is nicely remodeled and the whole property area is in excellent shape. They are almost done with the main pool, opening soon. This unit however is very close to a very nice swimming pool, and we used that one. The workout center we went to was also new, maybe a year old? Beach is just a short walk away. The condo is right at the 8th hole tee and is a ground level unit which was nice and had a screened in patio. The description says there are BBQ grills, but that means common charcoal ones near the pool. We didn't use. I suspect the HOA will not allow gas grills in the patio areas. Overall a great stay and we're planning on coming again next year. Perfect space for a couple.

This was our 2nd time visiting this location. Loved it so much last time, we stayed longer this time. A very comfortable, well stocked condo. Communication with owner is excellent. He responded quickly to my questions. We brought our golf clubs this trip. There is a great little par 3 course that winds thru the buildings . Hole #8 is right outside the condo. During the summer, you just go out the door and play. If you want to cook, the condo is equipped with everything you need. Easy walk to the beach. Several restaurants in the area including restaurants on the property. We’re already planning our next trip back. Thanks!!

Rough Start to a Great Stay

My wife and I were looking for a place to spend February and March of 2024. We were attracted to this property by all the five star ratings and the reviews of how clean it was. When we got to the condo, we were disappointed to find it was not clean. After spending a lot of time cleaning, we contacted the owner to let him know about the state of the condo and included pictures. Justin, the owner, reimbursed us for all the cleaning supplies we bought and the Cleaning Fee we were charged when we booked the property. He also arranged for a handyman to show up the next day to address the things we could not clean or fix. Justin was also very proactive in making sure any household supplies (light bulbs, furnace filters, shower curtain, etc.) were replaced quickly. The property itself was in a great location. It is close to the beaches, shops, restaurants and bars. Ocean Village has a large beach, three pools, an executive golf course, and an onsite restaurant/bar. The property offers many activities for residents and renters. We met people from all over the country and just about everyone was very friendly.

OCEAN VILLAGE BEACH CONDO

Justin was very easy to work with. I contacted him the second day I was there with a couple questions and he responded immediately. You have your choice of several pools and the main pool should be finished being upgraded by next season.I only spent the evenings in the condo as I enjoyed the weather and pools while I was there. I did not spend time at the beach, which is walking distance because I didn't have a beach umbrella. Justin has chairs, but not an umbrella you can use. I did walk to go see the ocean and beach. He has Internet streaming capabilites in the bedroom, but not in the livingroom. The television in the livingroom has Direct TV, but not movie stations like Cinemax, HBO, etc. I would have enjoyed the streaming capabilites in the livingroom as that is where I prefer to watch TV. This is just my opinion. I really enjoyed my stay at Justin's condo!

Little "retirement" Gem

We love the safety feeling with the guard in the entrance. We kind of got lost in the neighborhood due to it was late at night when we got there, but we found it off Golf Villas.. I was so glad it was on the first floor. We struggled a little on getting the main key off the key box, but glad we only had to use it once.. The condo was clean for the most part, the rugs still had some pistachio shells, but we cleaned that up and the pull out bed had a little bit of sand, which wasnt that big of a deal. Other than that it was a comfy place to stay. I loved the fact that it had a washer/dryer-I tried not to use it a lot as we were on vacation. The condo was pretty stocked with dish soap, toilet tissue, paper towel, linens,towels and baggies... there isnt that much stuff you can use to bring to the beach, but that also wasnt a big deal cuz we brought what we needed for that anyway..I do want to warn others though, that there was something that was biting me on the beach, so bring something to sit on and some bug spray as well. The H pool was pretty close by and the beach is about a 5-8 min walk. With the heat, the pool was warm everytime(it was great). If you are used to areas with lots of gift shops and store fronts, this is not the place. This is more of a relaxing boating/fishing/beaching "retirement" kind of place (which I personally loved).Buy grocery at the seaway supermarket (cheaper than some places) If you are Traveling with kids try Benny's pizza and Archie's...

Not so 5 Star!

My husband booked this condo due to the many 5 Star ratings! I had contacted the owner regarding the main pool, where the tiki bar is, because our friends stay in this gated community and advised us that it was closed since last October. No response from the owner. I then asked if there were pickleball courts, and again no response. There are two but closed due to complaints from a home owner. When we arrived at the condo, the entire sliding glass window was boarded up due to construction on the upper floor. We felt like we were living in a dark basement. The condo looked clean, but there was mold around the bathtub. Ugh!!! I contacted the owner, who did respond immediately, and he said he had just found out about the construction and had no idea about the mold. The owner did immediately reimburse us about half of our $, but I honestly was still very disappointed. We ended up leaving two days early. I did hesitate to write this review, but I felt that other consumers need to know before booking this condo. The property is on the ocean & the landscaping is well manicured with a small but nice golf course. There are two other pools on the property and the restaurant was also a plus. The people we met there were very nice and there were pickleball courts a 5 min drive away! Lots of places to eat too! We would definitely go back to the condo complex, but be much more carefull before booking.

We chose this location for its affordability & it was surrounded by green space that included bike trails & kayaking launches BUT we got even more! The complex is easy to navigate, there were activities & gym facilities, & wild nature right across the street or over the dune.The apartment itself was just right. Ocean Village is a beautiful place to stay, it has something to offer to everyone. Our condo had everything we needed and more. It was very clean and had the best bed I’ve slept on while on vacation. Third time we've stayed at Ocean Village, but first time in this condo. It was well-furnished and had everything we needed. The bed was fabulous!! Our only complaint would be that the golf course was closed on multiple days and it wasn't as close to the beach as we thought it would be. If we come back to Hutchinson Island in the future, we will stay here again!

Beach condo stay

The condo was great! It was clean and had all of the things that we needed such as dishes, kitchen gadgets, cookware, etc. The resort had great amenities. The pool area was fantastic and the beach was right around the corner. Great location close to many restaurants and a short drive to local grocery stores. Would definitely stay here again!
