Christmas vacation

We had a fantastic time at this property. We were six adults and two kids for Christmas and the New Year. The house has everything we needed for a 10 days trip, it’s in a quiet neighborhood, shops are nearby and the beach is just a 5min drive away. Well recommended!

Great location!! Home was as pictured and had a full kitchen with everything you would need to cook full meals. Backyard was spacious and quiet, plenty of pool towels and seating. Owners were quick to respond to inquiries. Very nice rental house.

Perfect family vacation house!

This was truly Villa Bliss. The house and pool were just as pictured with everything we needed for our family vacation. The house was very clean upon arrival. Perfect Getaway!!

We had a great time!! The house was furnished with everything we needed, cleaned from top to bottom, and with all the amenities, we had everything we needed. Between lazing around the pool, and relaxing in the shade whenever we wanted, we couldn't have asked for a more perfect vacation. With just a short walk to the beach and bar/restaurants, a car was not even necessary. I would definitely rent this place again!!

Villa Bliss was centrally located to everything. Neighborhood is set back off the main strip in very quiet neighborhood. The pool and hot tub along with the tiki hut are incredible and where we spent the vast majority of our time. Michelle could not have been more accommodating. We would highly recommend this property and hope to return.

Amazing rental

100% worth the money and I have no idea what any of the negative reviews could be about. It’s 100% a five star vaca rental perfect size for large family and extremely clean. The backyard is amazing we had an extremely good time. Will definitely come back!

When I first saw Tiki Hut, I thought how cliche. But,the Tiki Hut, pool and waterway made for an excellent outdoor living space. Backyard Paradise

What a special place this is. The backyard oasis and salt water heated pool made for many relaxing days. The bedrooms were spread out enough so that everyone had privacy and Michelle thought of everything that we could have possibly needed. We especially appreciated the K-cups for the coffee and our favorite Aveda tea. The beach, shops and restaurants are all a short drive away and there are plenty of restaurants that you can even walk to such as Blue Moon. Michelle was super attentive with suggestions for restaurants and shopping. I would highly recommend this place and we hope to come back to sunny Fort Lauderdale again. Thank you so much! Leslie

Not what we expected

Even though we enjoyed the family reunion, the property was not what we expected. Upon checking in the property was untidy and not clean as it should. The house definitely needs update and maintenance . We had lots of issues and not pleasant surprises that Michelle did her best to solve with efficiency and excellent predisposition. Nonetheless, it is far from being a five star property as listed. Appliances and furniture need update, beach equipment is not sufficient and in very bad shape. The pool area is nice and enjoyable. The neighborhood is quiet and the location is really convenient: very close to the beach. The canal is not profitable other than for fishing. With some investment and dedication could improve a lot.

Backyard Paradise

We visited Villa Bliss with another family, 10 people total. We loved the house: plenty of room for everyone, full kitchen and big fridge, lots of room to lounge, huge comfy couch, nice front load washer and dryer, and 3 bathrooms. The best part of the property was the backyard. Even though the houses next door are fairly close, you feel like you're in your own secluded paradise. The huge tiki hut is where we drank our morning coffee, or got some shade on a hot day. There was plenty of seating with the lounge furniture, dining table and chairs under there. Lights were on a timer at night so we never had to worry about turning things on or off. The backyard faced a slip of water, and the kids enjoyed sunbathing on the dock and watching the large boats go by. The pool and hot tub combo was amazing. The 'hot tub' spills into the pool, and doesn't have to be hot all the time. During the day it could just be pool temperature, which was great for sitting in comfortably while enjoying a cocktail. It heated up quickly when you felt like warming up. One of the bathrooms has a door to the outside, making it very convenient for pool goers to use the restroom without tracking water through the whole house. We started and ended everyday poolside, and spent plenty of time there in between. There are several restaurants near the beach that we visited, along with sweet shops, a pet shop, etc. It's about a 10-15 minute walk to the beach, which we did walk to. Most times we chose to drive, and parking was a breeze with the parking app downloaded to our phones. This house was perfect for our group (6 kids age 10-14) and we would definitely consider returning.

We really enjoy our “Quarantine-cation”. The house is in the perfect location and has all the amenities necessary to accommodate a family. We rent a lot of houses and this one was the best stocked home. I usually bring things like extra pots, cups, towels, etc. We did not need them. Michelle was a gem and communicated quickly with anything we needed. I saw reviews that the house was dated. Did not see that when we went this last week. While the home is older, it is updated and well kept. We would stay there again if we are ever in the area again.

Wheelchair Accessibility

I am in a 3-wheeled scooter and I found the turning radius a little tight in some areas of the house and mine turns nearly on a dime. I cannot stand for more than 30 seconds so I travel with my husband and two sons and families so they help me with showers, etc. You should not advertise as wheelchair accessible for these reasons. Otherwise, we had a great time. The 4 year old conquered his fear of the water. Thanks for fixing the drain promptly.

When we first arrived at this location we were all amazed at how clean and beautiful the house was! The house layout was extremely nice and we all had plenty of room with 12 people. The backyard area with pool and hot tub was the perfect area to relax and enjoy the awesome weather! We would highly recommend staying here if you plan to stay in Ft.Lauderdale. If we ever make it back we would love to stay here again! Michelle was also very responsive to any needs we had.
