Beautiful home away from home

This house was just as pretty in person as it is in the photos. The area is quiet and there are lovely views. We enjoyed the sunsets from the front porch. I will definitely book this home again.

This place is not lacking anything

This place was great 5 adults and 2 kids. It was so well stocked, it lacked nothing. Very clean Beds are very comfortable. Is was close to the main street of Ft. Davis

Beautiful House - Great for any occasion

We attended an event at the square. The house is conveniently located near town, making it easy to go back and forth multiple times a day. However, it is also far enough from the town to provide a peaceful and quiet atmosphere.The layout was ideal for our family, with bedrooms situated on both sides of the house. The furniture is comfortable and can accommodate a large group. The pantries and bathrooms are fully stocked, and there is a washer and dryer available if needed.Communication from the manager was excellent—thorough and prompt.

Beautiful Ft. Davis home

The pictures and description on the VRBO site were very accurate showing a beautiful well appointed home. When we got there it was even better than the pictures. Very clean and spacious. Kitchen was completely stocked with all utensils and cooking tools. We made several dinners and lacked for nothing. Host had a guest notebook with very helpful information about the house and sightseeing. Host is also very responsive about any questions. Will definitely visit again.

My family really appreciated the well-appointed kitchen and the stylish and comfortable bedrooms. There is room to spread out, but it’s also cozy and great for a family get-away. The pics are good, but don't do the house justice. Its superbly furnished with just about everything & more that you'd have at your own home. Everyone in our agreed that was pne of the best places wed stayed.

Memorial Day Under the Stars

We came to Fort Davis to visit the McDonald Observatory. We also did some hiking while we were there. The property and home was a relaxing respite from our activities. The kids got their own rooms and we had plenty of shared space to make food and enjoy one another's company, including the outdoor space. Communication was excellent for check-in and we appreciated the warning about local businesses closing early -- even though we didn't exactly listen and missed out on ice cream on Saturday night. Highly recommend this property and would stay here again if we find ourselves back in the area.McDonald Observatory was incredible!! For anyone considering a trip here, we highly recommend it.

Spacious and comfortable

My friends and I enjoyed the spaciousness of this lovely home in Ft Davis while we explored the area. Kitchen was well equipped. Only complaints were TV not in living room for all to enjoy NBA playoffs, and plug in guest bathroom not working.

Family get together/astrophotography.

This was by far one of the best equipped and well laid out rentals we have experienced. Check in was very straightforward . Communication with host was timely and thorough. There was an excellent area behind the house to set up my telescopes for astrophotography and the neighborhood was suitably dark. I felt comfortable leaving my gear set up for our entire stay. We would certainly come back to this rental again. In short we loved it.
